I opened the door, seeing the old man from before. He was wearing a black trench coat and a blue suit underneath.
"Umm... can I help you?" I asked.
"I'm here for my daughter. May I see her please?" He asked. I raised an eyebrow.
"Daughter? What's her name?" I asked back. Something seriously fishy is going on with this guy. I just can't put my finger on it.
"Natsuki. I miss her very much." He replied. I knew there was something wrong with this guy. I'm not letting this sicko close to Natsuki.
"I'm sorry, I don't know a Natsuki." I said. He grabbed me by my shirt and looked me dead in the face.
"Now listen here, you little shit. I know you have Natsuki here. Give her to me, now." He said, deathly serious. I pushed him back.
"Chill man! I don't know your daughter! Go to the police!" I said, closing the door. Before I could, he tackled me through the door and pinned me to the wall by my neck. He pulled a knife from his jacket.
"I know you're lying. Give me Natsuki, or you die." He slowly placed the knife against my throat. I punched him in the face and took the knife.
"After all the torment you put her through, I'll never let you get to her!" I said. Natsuki's dad stood back up, a twisted smile on his face.
"That's too bad. I guess the next time she'll see you is in your coffin!" He ran at me, pulling another knife from his coat. I blocked his attacks the best I could. He slashed at me, cutting a long gash down my left arm. I continued to block, grabbing a baseball bat lying next to the couch. My blood dripped onto the floor. He knocked the bat from my hand and knocked me to the floor. He placed his hand over my mouth. It smelled like the most foul garbage dump on Earth. He was sitting on my lap, keeping me from running. "Shhh. Don't scream. Your death will not be quick." He slowly plunged the knife into my left shoulder. I tried to grab it with my other hand, but it only cut my palm. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't. He then twisted the knife while it was still in my shoulder. I tried to flail and escape, but I couldn't. He moved his hand from my mouth.
"You won't get to Natsuki. I won't let you touch her ever again." I said, feeling a trickle of blood down my lip. He smiled.
"D I E." He said, aiming the knife at my heart. Suddenly, he is hit in the face with the baseball bat, sending him flying back. I looked up to see Natsuki holding the bat with tears in her eyes. There was blood on the bat. She must've broken his nose. She slowly walked up to him as he slowly got back up.
"Natsuki! How dare you! You will-" Natsuki cut him off by hitting him with the bat again. She then hit him over and over again.
"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! YOU HURT JACK, YOU MONSTER! I WON'T LET YOU HURT ME AGAIN!" She screamed, beating him with the bat. When she stopped, he was covered in his own blood. Natsuki dropped the bat and looked at me. She collapsed in front of me and hugged me tight, sobbing. I looked at my right arm. I was incredibly pale. I'm losing blood fast. Sayori, Yuri and Monika walked into the room with shocked looks on their faces. Sayori sat next to me, holding my hand and crying. Natsuki turned to Monika. "Call 911... hurry!" Natsuki said through the tears. Monika nodded and ran past Natsuki's dad to the phone. Yuri walked over and tried to treat my wounds. Natsuki looked at me again. "Stay with us, Jack! Everything will be okay!" She said, holding me closer. Monika returned and sat near me Before we knew it, the police and ambulance arrived.
