Ugh. I feel like crap. I checked the clock. 7:00. Geez. Somebody should've woken me up. It feels like there's a weight on my chest. I looked down.
"Oh. That explains a lot." I whispered, seeing Sayori cuddling my chest. She had a cutle little smile on her face. I stroked her hair, gently grabbing her bow and taking it off. She stirred slightly as I smiled. "My little cinnamon bun." Gently and slowly, I got out out bed, making sure Sayori was still asleep. She was. Perfect. I quietly closed the door and walk downstairs, seeing Monika, Yuri and Natsuki watching tv.
"These guys are such amateurs! That's not how you make a souffle, you idiot!" Natsuki yelled, clearly a little frustrated. I quietly made my way behind Monika and squeezed her sides. She yelped before jumping away in surprise. Natsuki started to laugh uncontrollably as Yuri covered her mouth.
"Surprise!" I said. Monika turned around with a smile on her face.
"Hello Jack! Nice to see you are awake now!" She replied. I sat down next to Yuri.
"Yuri... mind rolling up your sleeves for me?" I asked. She turned away before rolling up her sleeve, revealing her bandages. She started fiddling with her hair.
They were darkened with blood stains. "Ooh. Yeah, give me a second." I said, walking into the downstairs bathroom. Looking under the sink, I found the bandages. I returned to Yuri and unwrapped her bandages. Her cuts were still bleeding. She can't be reopening them. I hid the knives in a place she'd never find them. Anyway, I turned to Natsuki.
"Nats, could you get me a washcloth?" I then looked to Monika. "And Monika, I need the first aid kit." Monika nodded and left the room, heading for the garage. Natsuki returned with a washcloth. It used to be white. Now it's a dark crimson. "Thanks." I took the washcloth and wiped down Yuri's arm. Monika returned with the first aid kit. I opened it and took the antiseptic, rubbing down Yuri's arm. After the blood was cleared, I rewrapped Yuri's arm. She sighed and rolled down her sleeve. I quickly got to work on her other arm. Within minutes, both her arms had fresh bandages. She smiled.
"Thanks." Yuri replied. I smiled.
"No problem. So, you all excited for the dance tonight?" I asked. They all smiled.
"Yes! This is so exciting!" Monika said.
"You know it! I didn't make those cupcakes for nothing!" Natsuki said, stuffing her face with a cookie.
"Yeah. If my friends are there, it will be most enjoyable." Yuri said, calmly as ever. I checked my watch. 7:30. The dance starts in half an hour. Monika checks the clock.
"Oh! It's almost time! We should all get ready for the dance." I nodded and went upstairs back to my room. Sayori was still asleep. I slowly made my way to the bed, gently nudging her.
"Sayori... time to wake up..." I said. She stirred slightly and rolled over in bed. "Alright, time for plan B." I said, taking a breakfast bar out of my dresser and breaking it over her face. She slowly opened her eyes.
