MR ANGO's POV
I refuse to pay their fees because of the atrocities they did to me. My flesh and blood wanted to swindle me at this early age, I wonder what they would do when they become of age. Jane and Gosi are so dead. A sensible human being would have waited for me to get home first but no they had to come to and humiliate me in public. Illiterates, even lack simple common sense. Even poverty did not shame me like this when I was poor and dirty. I haven't walk this fast in my life. I was fuming with rage, I was beyond furious.
Wait till I get home, they are finished.
I got home bypassed everyone I saw and head straight to Gosi's room. I took out all her clothes from her wardrobe into a luggage and left it on the hallway. Jane's room was next. I packed all her cloths and the baby’s into separate luggage. I dragged their luggage downstairs to the compound. They should have thought of their children before they made me the laughing stalk of the town.
"Baba!" I furiously yelled.
"Oga(boss), here I dey!(here I am)." He said looking at me as if I'm mad.
“Oga(boss) you dey alright? (Are you ok?)” he asked, I could see he was terrified of me.
I ignored him, "throw their luggage out on the street." I ordered.
I went to the living room, they were chatting as if they did nothing wrong. When persuasion fails force applies. I grabbed hold of Gosi's arm, and dragged her outside. Jane was swearing and shouting that I should let go of Gosi but I turned a deaf hear.
She struggled to break free, "Ango, is what you is doing?" Gosi spoke, hitting me with her free arm.
I ignored her as I dragged her out. Gosi fell to the ground on the compound and she burst into crocodile tears.
I won't be fooled.
"Get up!" I snapped. She was intentionally delaying me, trying to make me change my mind.
"You won't fool me this time." I said, pulling her to her feet and carried her.
"Baba, open the gate." I yelled, she was heavy and I was eager to drop her but not until she out on the street.
As soon as Baba opened the door, I removed my arms and her buttocks made contact with the ground along with a faint cry escaping her lips. "My back! Ango, you be foolish man, you is kill me (you want to kill me)." she groan in pain.
I left her sitting there and went inside, “lock the gate! If she enters this compound, you are fired." I threaten Baba, who nod in fear.
“Ango, on show! Why are you angry? Finally, you sent her packing." Dede emerged from the backyard laughing.
“Ango, the angry man!” Dede mocked, I pushed her out of my way and head for Jane.
"Ango, I'm not part oooh!” Jane exclaimed.
“The children come home, say they sack them school fees. They say they will go outside to look for you. Then later they come back home say you dey Big Mama with fine women drinking beer. Gosi, said make we come there warn the girls (the children come home because they were sacked from school for not paying their fees. They went looking for you, later they came back saying you were at Big Mama’s beer bar having a drink with beautiful ladies. Gosi made us go there to warn the ladies off).” Jane explained in pidgin language.
