Ango's POV
"Why is it that, they only congratulate the women? Don't men deserve that recognition? After all, we put the seed in there for it to germinate." Papa Borla question rhetorically.
"Exactly, therefore on that note, we should handshake his balls and say congrats since it produced the seed." Azuza mocked, clearly trying to get on my nerves.
"Don't mind this idiot Ango! Anyway congratulations on your eleventh child." Papa Borla smirked evilly.
"But seriously, I don't know how he does it?" Azuza asks Papa Borla.
Oh God let them SHUT UP!
"I will tell you how, the moment Ango takes his pants off, he scatters children everywhere. I'm surprise a bastard hasn't come to claim to be his son." Borla replied and we all burst out laughing at his sarcasm.
"For a man who was in a foul mood and heart broken, you sure know how to celebrate!" Azuza mocks me.
"He is smitten by her!" Borla
teased and I threw him a warning glare."Enough you two! I wasn't smitten by her and I'm not suffering from heartbreak!" I declared annoyed.
"I actually liked Linda, its a shame it didn't work out." Papa Borla said sincerely.
"Or maybe it's because you are dating her friend. Thats why you are being biased." Azuza mocked.
I raised a brow at Borla, I didn't know he was dating Yemi, "maybe" he said to Azuza. " Sorry I didn't tell you I was courting her friend." He said, looking guilty.
"Change of subject, you mean to say, that evening that you kicked Linda out, was the same night Dede went into labour?" Azuza asked with wide eyes.
" Yes. For a man you sure know how to gossip." I mocked with a throaty laugh despite the daggers he threw at me.
"Aww! Azuza don't cry okay." Borla said mockingly whiles gesturing to Azuz's face.
"It seems you have a full house today than when it was Jane's baby ceremony." Azuza said, looking around at the cheerful crowds dancing happily.
"Always draws attention from your self. Can't you handle a little teases." Borla chuckled.
"You know Dede is a Ghanaian. Her family came over to support her. She has been through a-lot especially with her miscarriages." I stated with a sigh.
"Now that she has two children, Jane should get off her back and stop calling her barren." Azusa said with seriousness.
"Can I ask you a question?" Borla asked and I replied with a nod.
"Do you sometimes regret marry after Mercy?"
"I do regret it sometimes especially when they fight or their children does something wrong especially..."
"Gosi!" Azuza finished off for me.
"Dear friend, don't settle for more than one! The jealousy, hatred and envy is inevitable in a polygamous marriage even if they live in separate houses. They can be handful most at times." I said with all honesty.
