My Idol

First meeting

The next day

It was early in the morning and each of the BTS members were tiredly getting ready and freshened up for their next music video shoot. They had a big day ahead of them for sure. But they were used to it. What you'd think is a big and busy day is just the normal every day life of this Korean boy band.

They didn't bother dressing in anything too extravagant because they'd have to get changed again into their many different outfits for their music video. Dressing in anything too nice would be nothing but a waste. Something simple and comfortable was all that they needed.

Each of the guys grinned in delight as a certain smell filled their noses. PANCAKES!!! Jin, the oldest member of bts had made them pancakes for breakfast. It was pancake day after all so it made sense but that fact had completely slipped their minds so the sweet, delicious breakfast that greeted them that morning definitely came as a huge yet delightful surprise.

Each of the members bolted towards their breakfast pancakes and devoured them like dogs. Yoongi burped loudly and grinned in satisfaction. "Jinnie you never fail to disappoint with your amazing cooking skills." He praised. Jin laughed in embarrassment at that comment and scratched the back of his head.

"That complement meant a lot coming from you. You're not one to give complements. Why'd you say that so suddenly? Are you hiding something?" Namjoon teased. Yoongi rolled his eyes and huffed in annoyance at the younger man's comment. "Can't a guy casually complement their friend? You probably just said that because you're jealous right?" Yoongi told him.

Jimin let out a light giggle after hearing Yoongi's comment and then snuck up behind Namjoon and Jin and made small heart signs with his hands, above their heads. Yoongi grinned and followed soon after. "Namjin alert." Jimin joked. Jin blushed in embarrassment at their friend's remark and Namjoon rolled his eyes. "Namjin alert or Yoonmin?" He muttered angrily under his breath.

At that comment both Yoongi and Jimin stopped what they were doing and blushed profusely towards one another. All the members stared at the blushing men in shock. "Wait seriously? I was just kidding." Namjoon said, surprised. Both men shook their heads vigorously in response. "The two of us, a couple? Psst no way!" They both denied in unison before looking away from one another. 

The rest of the member's breakfast time was pretty silent after that and each of the members just awkwardly ate breakfast together without uttering a word, before making their ways towards the set of their next music video for shooting.

When they arrived at the set, they were greeted with a surprise that they would never have expected. For there standing among their staff was the famous IU. She smiled towards the seven men sweetly and gave them a wave.

Jungkook who had been in front of his other members bolted back in surprise at the sight of his idol and crashed into his hyungs as a result. IU giggled cutely at the sight before her before holding out her hand for Jungkook to take. "Waah! Sorry for that, didn't mean to startle you. I know you hadn't accepted my collaboration request yet but I just had to meet you as soon as possible anyway. I'm a huge fan." She told them.

Jungkook took IU's hand as she held it out for him and blushed wildly as soon as their hands touched. "Th...thank you. I...I'm a huge fan of yours too." He stuttered. He looked away in embarrassment after realizing how nervous he sounded just then. 'Urgh...I must have sounded so pathetic. Nice going Jungkook,' he thought to himself. 

The other members were smirking and chuckling behind him, probably because of how much of a fanboy he was being in front of IU. "Aigoo isn't he such a cutie" He heard Hobi whisper. "I know, he must really like her." Namjoon whispered back."Kyaa, I just want to pinch the guy's cheeks. He's so adorable." Taehyung quietly told them. Jungkook both felt embarrassed and annoyed at the sound of his hyungs voices. He was nervous enough already, he didn't need his hyungs making him feel worse.

"So...Jungkook shii have you thought about my offer to collaborate with you? Will you do it?" She asked, while looking at the younger man anxiously. Jungkook internally screamed after hearing her request. Sure he had heard it already, but it still made him feel over the moon.  He definitely wanted to collaborate with the singer before him. He was her biggest fan.

He opened his mouth to accept the offer, but he found himself unable to utter a word. Why couldn't he just utter those simple words. 'Yes I want to collaborate with you,' why? He sighed even if he couldn't directly tell her that he accepted her offer he still wanted her to know. So instead of telling her he simply nodded his head. His face went red in embarrassment though. Not even being able to say something as simple as that to her. Really?

The older woman squealed in delight after seeing Jungkook's reply and quickly enveloped him in a hug. Jungkook's heart skipped a beat after IU's sudden embrace and he felt as though time had stopped in that moment. "Kyaa! I'm so excited! Please come to my place tomorrow if you have time, to discuss the plans for our duet. Here's my address and phone number. Please call me if you are unable to make it tomorrow." She told him before giving him another quick hug and skipping off.

Jungkook didn't move from his spot and just stood frozen with his mouth agape. "Damn, you have got it bad for IU." Taehyung teased him before swinging an arm around his shoulder. "Kyaa! I'm shipping you guys already." Jimin chuckled before swinging his arm around Jungkook's other shoulder.

The rest of the day was spent with BTS shooting their music video and each of the members teasing Jungkook for his reaction to IU. Normally Jungkook would tease them back but he was still in shock from meeting IU. He had literally spent the entire day silent, emotionless and in shock. He just couldn't believe it.

He had met the IU and he was going to collab with her.
