My Idol

Jungkook and IU's Recording

First of all, before I start the chapter I would like to apologies for not updating in a while. I said I would but I had a lot of exams to do and wanted to focus on studying for the time being. Now that they're over and done with I am glad to say I can start writing again!!! Yay!

Jungkook was currently sitting in a car, making his way to IU's recording studio. He and IU were planning on recording their song for the collaboration. He and IU had practiced the songs quite a lot but Jungkook couldn't help but feel butterflies in his stomach. He made and recorded many songs before, but this was IU's song. He had to make it perfect, for her. He hoped nothing would go wrong.

As soon as he left his car, IU's smiling figure came to greet him. She'd been waiting outside her studio for him. As soon as her eyes met his, she ran up to him excitedly and embraced him. "Jungkookie!!! You made it!" She squealed. Jungkook smiled brightly as she hugged him, his teeth fully showing.

"Why do you sound so excited," he chuckled, "I kind of had to come you know because of the collaboration. It's not unexpected." He patted and ruffled IU's hair before walking inside the studio alongside her. After spending so much time with IU, Jungkook's confidence around her increased a lot. He still got really shy around her now and then but he was now able to speak to her without constantly stuttering.

"Just because I knew you were coming, doesn't mean I won't be excited. I love getting to see you!" She pouted. Jungkook felt his cheeks go slightly warm after hearing her comment. Hearing his crush say something so sweet to him definitely made him feel extremely warm inside.

As soon as they entered the room a tall, toned, handsome man entered the room. He had jet black hair and bright blue eyes. His skin looked so soft and perfect that one could have mistaken him for an idol. He walked towards Jungkook and IU with a warm smile on his face.

"Chung-Ho!" IU squealed before pulling the other man into a hug. Jungkook felt his stomach churn in jealousy at the sight of the man and IU hugging. "Waa! You're so cute, always getting excited to see me like that." The man chuckled before lightly patting IU's head. "She get's excited to see me to." Jungkook muttered under his breath, a large pout making its way onto his features.

"Hi, you must be Jeon Jungkook. IU's told me a lot about you." Chung-Ho smiled, before reaching out his hand to shake Jungkook's. "Umm...nice to meet you to...sir." He nervously said before taking out his own hand to awkwardly shake the man's hand. "Sir? No need to be so formal, you can call me by name you know, hyung if you prefer." The man joked.

IU face palmed before letting out a giggled. She then bowed quickly in apology. "Oh sorry, I never told you about him. This is Lee Chung-Ho, my best friend and assistant." IU explained to him.

Jungkook nodded his head and bowed politely towards IU's friend. "Its nice to meet you, I'm glad to have finally gotten the chance to meet one of her close friends." He told him with the biggest smile he could muster, trying hard to hide the jealousy he was truly feeling.

"Its nice to meet you to, I had some important information to give to you." He told them, an excited grin wide on his lips. Jungkook and IU looked towards Chung-Ho curiously, waiting for whatever news he had. "I booked you to debut your collaboration song at the golden disk awards in January!" He told them excitedly.

IU squealed in delight and jumped on top of Chung-Ho happily. "Thanks Chung-Ho, you're the best!" She giggled. Jungkook himself felt very grateful towards Chung-Ho for doing this and yet, he couldn't properly enjoy that moment. Not with the jealousy that was seeping within him. He clenched his fists tightly in anger at the sight of IU's arms wrapped tightly around him he hated the sight, but stayed silent.

Jungkook went to the bathroom before recording the song, mainly so he could cool himself down from his anger before singing. He washed his face with water and took deep breaths to calm himself down. He then looked in the mirror, a look of determination lying on his face. He wouldn't let anything get in the way of his performance. He was determined and certain about that.

After leaving the bathroom his eyes caught IU. The two of them made their ways towards the recording room to sing their song. They sang happily together in harmony, singing with all their hearts and might.

"You guys are so talented! BTS are pretty good but I'd never really stopped to think about how good you are as individuals. Now hearing you in person I truly am blown away by how beautiful and soothing your voice is." Chung-Ho complimented. Jungkook smiled towards him and bowed his head. "Thank you, I appreciate the compliment." He told him.

"I'm holding a halloween party at my house next week you guys can come if you want. Bring along your other BTS members as well. I'd love to meet them." He told the two before handing them invitations. Jungkook smiled brightly before happily taking the invitation. "Thank you, I'd love to go." He told him.

After finishing up the performance, Jungkook went back to the bathroom, he accidentally left his phone in there. After leaving the bathroom, he looked towards IU.

She had a piece of paper in her hands, a small, cute smile lay on her face as she looked at it. She then placed it on a table beside her before making her way towards Jungkook. "Yay, we finished singing! Let's go grab something to eat to celebrate!" She grinned before skipping out of the recording studio.

Jungkook walked towards the piece of paper she had put on the table and picked it up. 'She forgot her paper, I'll give it to her.' He thought to himself. The paper was a letter and letting his curiosity get the best of him, he read it. But what he read made his heart drop.

Dear IU,
I'm always watching you and admiring your beauty. When you laugh, you always make me smile. Please believe me when I say that I love you more than anything else in this world. Someday soon I'll gain enough courage to confess to you in person, so please wait for me until then.

Love, From your secret admirer

A love poem/letter from a secret admirer? Jungkook began to shake. Judging by the smile on her face, could it be possible that IU liked the letters and wanted to perhaps start a relationship with the admirer? Jungkook shook his head. They were idols, getting love letters from fans was normal. The letter was probably from a fan. He found his fan letters cute and they made him smile. That was probably it. But Jungkook was the jealous type. He could barely handle Chung-Ho hugging IU, never mind a love letter. So it didn't matter to him whether the letter was from a fan or not...

IU had a secret admirer.
