Jungkook walked silently alone through a small town. He didn't have much to do and couldn't get Taehyung and IU out of his head. His heart ached immensely no matter how hard he tried to forget it. He stared emotionlessly at the newly forming snowflakes that surrounded him and didn't even flinch as the cold began to attack him.

He hadn't had any work to do and had no idea how to pass the time. So he had just decided to go on a walk to clear his mind and wound up making his way into a nearby town. He saw people smiling and laughing and shopping together and his heart stung in jealously. But he tried his hardest not to think about it.

His eyes caught a couple holding hands and giggling together and couldn't help but imagine himself and IU in that position but right after his spot was replaced by Taehyung's and everything went dark. He hated this. It would have been better if he and IU hadn't decided to collab at all. Then this whole mess would have been completely avoided. But there was no point in thinking of the "if only's" and "what if's," It wasn't going to change anything or make things better.

Jungkook stared up at the snowflakes disappointed in himself that he was too upset to admire their beauty. He watched one slowly drift from the sky and land on his hand. Suddenly its beauty could no longer be admired as it had now transformed into a tiny puddle of water. It was kind of similar to love when you first feel it, it feels like the most amazing feeling in the world but as you realize the person you care for doesn't feel the same or there are some other complications then suddenly the beauty of it begins to melt away into pain and sadness until it is then turned into nothing more than a small useless puddle

Jungkook looked up at a nearby store and he let out a sigh. Christmas was coming, might as well buy some presents for the hyungs. He felt a pain in his chest as his mind slowly drifted to Taehyung. A part of him wanted to leave him out and forget buying him a present but he knew that, that wasn't right. It was childish and petty. Taehyung will always be a precious brother to him no matter what things he's done to him in the past.

He walked inside a nearby store and looked around it, after a while he chose out the presents in which he would gift his hyungs and was about to leave the store when a cute stuffed toy met his eyes. IU loved stuffed toys...

He stared at a particular toy for a while contemplating on whether to buy the toy or not. 'She and Taehyung like each other I should be respectful of that and not make things awkward by buying her a gift.' He thought to himself but then he put his hand on his chin and thought for a while again. 'But she's still my friend, there's nothing weird about getting my friend a gift, everyone does that. She probably did the same.' So finally after a while of back and forth thinking he decided to buy the gift.

Jungkook made his way to his house and opened the door. Not a sound came from within the house and all the lights were turned off. The entire house was completely pitch black. The house was way too quite. where was everyone?

He opened the living room door and inspected it. Nobody was there. Had his hyungs gone out somewhere and failed to tell him?

Jungkook let out a deep sigh finally starting to except that there was nobody home when...
