My Idol

Awkward dance practice

Jungkook sighed as he entered his all too familiar dance studio. He then did some stretches to prepare for his dance practice. Usually he would be with his fellow members but it was just him today. Well...just him and IU that is. She just hadn't arrived yet.

The two of them had decided to dance at his dance studio and have the dance for their song be created by his choreographer.

Normally he'd be pretty confident when it came to dancing but this time he wasn't sure if he'd do well learning the dance. Sure he hadn't even seen the choreography yet but he knew that if he were to be dancing with IU he would be a nervous wreck and wouldn't be able to focus at all.

After Jungkook had finished stretching he decided to practice some of the dance steps to one of the songs he and his fellow bts members were currently working on. He put on the song on his phone.

He moved and swayed his hips graciously to the beat and danced almost with perfect ease. Unbeknownst to him as he danced Ji-eun had entered the room. She stood frozen and in awe at the sight of the younger man's dancing. She may have been a dancer herself who had seen all sorts of dances similar to the one Jungkook was doing but even she had to admit that Jeon Jungkook was pretty incredible.

As the music stopped and Jungkook's movements ceased he began huffing and puffing loudly, clearly out of breath from all the dancing. As he did this IU clapped happily in glee, praising Jungkook for his dancing skills.

Jungkook jumped at the sound of the woman's clapping and blushed in embarrassment after realizing Ji-eun had been watching him dance that whole time.

"Waah! You were soooooo good! Sure I've seen you dance in your music videos and in some of your performances at award shows but I have never got to realize just how good you really were until I got to see you dance up close!" She squealed.

Jungkook looked towards the ground shyly after hearing the compliment his idol gave him. "Th...thank you b...but you're r...really talented yourself I...Ji-eun, you know that?" He told her nervously. IU smiled slightly after hearing Jungkook's comment. She then began twiddling her fingers together. "I'm nowhere near as good as you are though." She told him softly.

Jungkook couldn't help but stare at IU with a shocked expression after hearing what she had said. "That's not true! You're amazing! Besides you've been performing longer than I have and you have more experience! How could you say that I'm better than you!" He exclaimed.

IU couldn't help but giggle after hearing Jungkook's outburst. "You're really sweet you know that Jungkook." She told him, making the younger's cheeks turn scarlet in response. He looked towards the ground and covered his face with his hands to hide his blushing cheeks from the beautiful woman before him.

Just then a familiar man entered the room. Jungkook and bangtan's choreographer. (I know that for a lot of their songs i.e dope and blood sweat and tears BTS don't actually get to meet their choreographers and only get to learn their dances through videos but lets just pretend that they do get to meet them. Kay!) He approached the two performers with a serious look on his face. The two of them bowed towards him as he entered. "Good morning Jungkook shii and its a pleasure to meet you Miss Lee." He greeted them. "Hello to you to." They both greeted back.

"So the dance we're doing is for a song I wrote, I'll sing it to you for help." IU offered. The choreographer just simply shook his head in response. "No need I am aware that the choreography needed is for a song you wrote and I have already heard it, Jungkook had sent me a demo of the song beforehand and I already have a dance prepared to teach you." He explained to her.
