My Idol

A Nervous wreck

A day had passed since Jungkook's meeting with IU and he was now currently standing in front of her house. Sweat poured down from every inch of his body and he could feel himself shaking. He slowly reached out his hand to knock on the door and gulped just a few minutes after doing so.

To his surprise the person to open the door for him was not IU but someone else. A slightly old and quite strict looking woman with light brown hair and eyes and wrinkled cheeks. She also wore a maid outfit and a bonnet. She must have been one of IU's servants.

"H...Hi M...My name's Jeon J...Jungkook, I'm here to well...discuss about my collaboration with IU." He told her. The woman stared at Jungkook with large suspicious eyes before sighing and nodding her head. "Very well, follow me. Miss Lee is currently in her room if you wish to speak with her." The maid told him.

Jungkook followed quietly behind the woman. He could feel the nervousness welling up in his stomach the further he got inside IU's house. The maid then approached one of the rooms and knocked on it gently. "Come in." He heard a soft voice reply. Jungkook felt his heart melt just at the sound of his celebrity crush's voice.

The maid then opened the door for him before bowing towards him and IU and walking off. IU smiled as she noticed the younger man standing in front of her door. "Oh Jungkook shii it's you! How wonderful!" She said sweetly before walking towards him.

She then grabbed his hand before walking him towards her desk in which she kept in her room. Jungkook could feel the heat rushing to his cheeks as she did this. He sat beside her on one of the seats she had in front of her desk.

"So...uhm...IU do you have any ideas for what song we should sing for our collaboration?" He asked. IU giggled in response. "Please, there's no need for you to address me with my stage name. Just call me Ji-eun, ok" IU told him. Jungkook simply nodded quietly in reply, knowing very well that he'd only end up fanboying like a crazy person after hearing IU giggle if he opened his mouth.

"About the collaboration...actually I was wondering if we could sing a song that I wrote. Its a very personal song to me about love and hope. Its a duet and that's why I wanted to collaborate with you. I had been set on getting you to sing the duet with me ever since I heard your song, Begin. You have such a beautiful and soothing voice and it sounded just perfect for my duet." She explained to him. Jungkook smiled slightly after hearing that. He felt honored to have been the chosen person to sing such an important duet with his idol. "Of course, it would be a privilege to sing your song with you." He told her.

IU or rather Ji-eun felt relieved at that and smiled before taking out a small songbook out of one of her drawers. She opened it to a specific page before showing it to Jungkook. "This is my song, mind if I sing it to you?" She asked. Jungkook nodded his head in anticipation. Of course he'd want to hear his idol sing a song to him privately just to him before anyone else gets to hear it. Who wouldn't want that?

Ji-eun closed her eyes and took a deep breath before singing the lyrics of her song. Jungkook felt mesmerized by IU's voice and wouldn't mind listening to just that for the rest of his life. It wasn't just her voice but the lyrics of the song resonated within him as well. It was so emotional and heartwarming. Jungkook could just tell in an instant that IU wrote that song to send a message to her fans.

A bit into the song when Jungkook felt like he recognized the sound of the song enough he began singing along to it with IU. Their voices were in sink and complemented each other. It was like their voices were made to be used together. Both singers were immersed into the song. Both forgetting about time itself as they sang.

Once they had finished singing they both had gleeful and satisfied looks on their faces. "I liked that, the song sounded good and I have a good feeling about our collaboration." Jungkook said confidently. "I know, the sound of your voice for this song exceeded my expectations! I knew I was right in choosing you to sing with me!" She cheered.

Jungkook blushed after seeing how cheerful his idol was and after hearing her compliment him. He pinched himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming. This was all real. He was in IU's house, he was sitting beside her and he had even sang one of her songs with her. It seemed too good to be true.

"I am more excited than ever now, to release our duet!" Ji-eun exclaimed. Jungkook chuckled at that. He hadn't known her for long but during the time he has been with her he has seen that she is extremely energetic, cheerful and cute. She wasn't how he had imagined she'd be but she was better.

A knock then sounded at IU's bedroom door. "Come in!" IU called. The person to open the door was the same strict looking old lady from before. "I brought you kids some snacks just in case you're hungry." She told them with an oddly sweet look on her face. When he had opened the door she had seemed really scary and intimidating now she was really sweet and well basically like a completely different person.

She handed the pair the tray of snacks before leaving the room. On the tray were some biscuits, cupcakes and scones. Along with some cups of tea for the both of them. There were also some napkins set beside them just in case they needed them.

IU gleefully took a scone and gobbled it up straight away. Her face was covered in crumbs as a result. Jungkook chuckled slightly at the sight thinking that Ji-eun looked kind of adorable with her face covered in crumbs. "You've got some crumbs on your face." He told her. He then took his napkin and brought it to IU's chin to wipe off the crumbs. "There, much better." He told her before shooting her one of his iconic bunny smiles. Ji-eun blushed as a result and looked away. Jungkook was so cute!!!

Ji-eun's blush did not go unnoticed by Jungkook, making him smirk in triumph. By the looks of it, he must have made some progress with IU! He was certain. Perhaps by the time he had finished and released his collaboration song with IU he may have even been able to make her his girlfriend. Aw yeah, Jungkook was feeling confident. If all of his other meetings with IU were as successful as that one, there was no doubt in his mind that he would make her fall for him.

He could do it! He could make IU his girlfriend!
