Chapter 7

"I...IU!" Jungkook yelled, shocked and confused at the sight. "Kookie!" IU yelled back cutely before engulfing Jungkook into a hug. Jungkook's cheeks turned into a bright crimson color as he felt the older woman's arms around him. First she shows up at the theme park during their trip and then she embraces him. Jungkook knew for a fact that he would one day probably end up dying from a heart attack thanks to the fellow idol.

"Glad you could make it, Ji-eun shii." Hobi said excitedly. He grinned his sunshiny smile towards her. Jungkook turned to his group mate in confusion. "Huh?" He simply said. "We decided to invite Ji-eun to come with us on the trip today since you both had days off and you seemed so extra fond of her. We had thought you'd like to see her here." Jimin told him with a smirk spread across his lips.

Jungkook shot a death glare towards the other man before turning towards the idol he was crushing on with a blush spread across his cheeks. "I guess I...I don't mind h...having you here. I...I'd love for you to Join us IU." Jungkook lied.

In truth he would rather she weren't there. He liked Ji-eun a lot but having her around would make him so extra nervous. He needed to prioritise seeing IU as more of a performer rather than a crush so that he could learn to perform in a professional and worthy way for her. Spending so much time with her would ruin that. Of course he also remembered his dream and how he had hurt the fellow performer's feelings a lot by ignoring her. But it was just a dream...right? She couldn't really be upset...right? She probably doesn't even really like him in that way for real anyway. She barely knew him. Besides looking at her now she seemed perfectly happy.

All Jungkook had to do was avoid talking to her while at the theme park that day and everything would be fine. Jungkook fist pumped the air. He could do this. Everything would be fine.

Suddenly Jin interrupted the younger's train of thought with a wide glare slid across his lips. "Yah! What are you doing addressing Ji-eun shii the way you did! She is older than you! You should be calling her Noona!" The elder scolded him.

IU giggled sweetly in response to the eldest BTS member's outburst. "It doesn't matter, I don't mind Kookie simply addressing me by my name." She assured him. Jungkook shook his head and looked up towards the older woman with a determined look on his face. "N...no he's right, I...I was being disrespectful, n...noona." He stuttered. He looked up to notice the older woman with wide eyes and a bright red colouring her cheeks. The other bts members chuckled mischievously behind the two.

Jungkook sighed, avoiding her would be harder than he thought. But he needed to, for her sake. He needed to give her the best performance of his life and to do this he must avoid her at all costs. He knew this.

The 8 friends entered the theme park ready to enjoy their day and have fun. The day had begun and they would enjoy it!
