Chapter 13
*************

~Lei's P.O.V~

I opened my eyes to see that I was still in the Summerlands. "That was a nasty fall you took." A small child like voice said to my right. I turn my head slightly to the right to see a boy with one green and one blue eyes. He was standing on the sidelines of the white sidewalk. I shot up into a sitting position. "Wonsik!" I tried to get on my feet but felt dizzy.

"Be careful Miss. You had just fallen." The boy said. I looked at him again as I held my throbbing head. "Who are you?"

"Someone not important miss."

"If you're not important then why are you standing there?"

"I can only tell you if you come closer and step on the grass."

Something in my gut was telling me not to trust this kid. "I rather stay on the sidewalk. Plus my brother's told me to be careful of reapers and lost souls. Is that what you are. A lost soul? Or are you a reaper?"

The little boy smirked. " I guess my cover is blown, Miss. The question is who are you? You're not quite human or a lost soul. You're somewhere in the middle."

"What do you know? I am too a human but as you can see. I'm stuck in this world and trying to get back to my body. I'm a hunter of the moon goddess and a spirit holder. I can hold their energy or give energy to other creatures."

"Oh, your one of those people. Well, I guess I got lucky today. Let's play a riddle game. I give you three riddles to solve, you can only win 2 or 3 riddles in order to leave. 1 or 0 you have to sell your soul to me. Do you want to play?"

"Alright fine. Give me your best shot."

"You can always find me in the past. I am created in the present, but the future cannot change me. What am I?" The boy looked at me with emotionless eyes.

"What can I find in the past but is created in the present but the future can not change.... History. History is in the past but is also created in the present and you can't change it in the future."

"What has been around for millions of years but is never more than a month old?"

"Oh come on that is so easy. It's the moon."

"My age today is three times what it will be three years from now minus three times what my age was three years ago. How old am I?"

I stared at the boy as he stared back. I was lucky that my math teacher in school was a riddles person. Always writing riddles on the board for to solve before class or extra bonus on a test.

"18"

"I have been defeated by you, Miss. I hope you have a safe trip back." The little boy said turning to leave. A few steps ahead he turns to smile at me, "Miss there is a gift for you when you get back." then proceed to where he was going. I exhaled a breath that I was holding. I smiled proudly at myself and turned my way to where I was going. Ignoring the cracks and anything that could trip me.

I stood in front of the white light, panting to catch my breath. "Here goes nothing," I told myself sticking a hand through the white light. I  was sucked in and felt like I was on a train going over hundred miles per hour. I was standing in the room looking at everyone. All of my senses were working but I was still out of my body. I could hear voices echo throughout the room.

"There's nothing to worry about Ravi. She will heal no matter what." N said squeezing his shoulder.

My poor Wonsik, How long have I been out? How long has he been staying here? How long will I be like this? There were so many questions but no answers to them yet. I just wanted to be back in my body again, awake and healthy.
