Chapter 20: "Operation: D.C on the move!"

"Let's go to the movies!" You say to Namjoon, liking how he responded with a smile and cute nod. "I wanna watch a movie! If you haven't realized, I am also a movieholic...if that is even a word but long story short, I love movies. Not to mention the amazing actors portraying their roles perfectly." You babble excitedly as you drag him to the ticket counter. Skimming through the lines of the movies that were showing, your eyes brighten up and tell the girl on the counter the selected movie.

Namjoon chuckles at your cute antics and lets you drag him inside the cinema, a giddy smile on his face.

Oh God, he feels like a teenage boy who has a crush on someone for a very long time and she finally asks you out on a date or something.

"Quick! It's starting! We can get popcorn later when it's on the boring part!" He snaps out of his trance as you voice enters his earshot. Looking around, he notices that you both are already in the cinema, people already filling up the seats ligned up for them. Then, he feels your hand tugging his to two empty seats before sitting down, Namjoon following right after. You were bouncing slightly as your eyes were focused on the movie, not even realizing that you kept your grip on his hands, thrill running on your veins.

He unconsciously tightens his hold on yours, and you turn to him, a questioning look on your face. Namjoon then lowers his head apologetically and tries to remove his hand on yours when to his surprise, you grab it back and place it on top on yours, eyes still trained on the screen. Grinning, he makes himself comfortable and relishes the feel of your hands below his, touching each other.

That is when six girls suddenly scrambled to go on the, coincidentally, 6 free chairs on either side of both of your seats.

"Hi Y/N-ssi!"

You raise an eyebrow at the six girls before you smile slightly, "Hey Minji...I'm sorry if this might be a little rude but my friend and I are hanging out and-"

"-no! We just LOVE this movie! Please don't think that we would want to join your date because we feel like someone is selfish for taking your time! This movie is amazing you know! I love it very much! Like it's the best movie to have been ever created in the whole universe because of it's amazing plot and the way the characters act!" Hyejung says quickly, and you try not to laugh at their exaggerated gestures.

"But you haven't been in here for like a minute?" Namjoon ask, a mock questioning tone lacing underneath it as he glares at his groupmates, putting two and two together. "And, what a shock! All of us are very close but I never knew that you guys are a fan of Lego Movies! Remember Haeun! You even told me that it's a good movie but it's already getting old! How come you guys are here and not...I don't know...going away and leaving the both of us alone and at peace?" He smirks at how their expressions drop in horror.

"Then why are you here with us and watching Lego movies? If Namjoon was correct, then you shouldn't be here in the first place." You innocently questioned, your head tilted slightly. Obliviously looking at them one by one, you miss the way they look at Namjoon with horror as they panicked inside.

"Look Batman's fighting again!"

"Where? I'll talk to you guys later okay? I wanna see!"
