Zach didn't contact me since that day in my apartment. Can't deny it but I hated that he hadn't spoken to me again. Rumours were out that Zach and Dani broke up but they're rumours you never know what the actual truth is.

My head wasn't hurting anymore all I had was a faint bruise on my head that I managed to cover up with foundation and concealer. Praise the lord for makeup.

I made myself busy and went to the gym a lot, my dad's gym to be exact. Luckily Zach was nowhere to be found but in reality, I did want to see him but I feel as though he's probably busy with other things.

I had work tonight and it would be my first shift since the incident but I promised Beth, my boss that I will be fine. Regarding my attacker, he was arrested and questioned. Shockingly he admitted to committing the crime and agreed to pay for the damage to my car.

I was never planning on paying for myself.

He's going to be in jail for a few months since I wasn't adamant on making him suffer, he's not a bad guy he just wanted the extra money.

I made my way into the club at 7.45 I had about 15 minutes until my shift started so I grabbed a drink hoping to lighten up my mood since I've been a moody bitch lately.

I barely had time to take a breath before I saw Ade walking up to me. I've never seen him in here so I was shocked, even more that he was walking straight towards me with that beaming smile of his.

"I need a favour," he says as soon as he reaches the bar. Not really what I was expecting but from the look he was giving me now I knew I wasn't going to like it. He set himself up on the stalls.

"no hello?" I say leaning over on the bar. He simply just grinned back at me before placing an envelope on the table. I scanned it with my eyes and noticed the formal writing covering it.

"I need you as a witness for his case and even though Zach would kill me if he knew what I was doing right now" he rubbed his temple, he looked stressed. Being the great bartender, I am I poured him a drink and placed it in front of him.

Slowly I grabbed the envelope and opened it up. There were multiple pictures inside they were dark but I could see the contents.

"he doesn't want you involved but sooner or later the police are going to bring you in for questioning, we need to beat them and bring you as a witness" he explains to me as my eyes scan over the pictures.

There's pictures of me on that night helping Zach out of the building. My face isn't visible but it doesn't take a genius to realise that it is me in those pictures.

"can't they just question me, I can tell them the truth and this way Zach doesn't have to see me," I say annoyed. I can fully understand where Ade is coming from but why doesn't Zach want me to be a witness.

Surely its better than being arrested.

"it's not that he doesn't want to see you Imogen he just doesn't want you involved" isn't that the same thing. I could tell part of me being annoyed was down to him not talking to me since then.

"Fine, when do you need me," I ask him shoving the pictures back into the folder so nobody sees what were looking at. The club was starting to fill up with people setting up for tonight, it's a student night so its going to be busy.

He smiles weakly before mumbling "tomorrow morning" I stare at him, tomorrow! couldn't he have told me sooner that's barely time to mentally prepare.

"Be at the court before 10 Imogen" he says quickly after paying for his drink. I stared at his retreating back as he left the club.
