Normally I embrace bad decisions. Mainly because it means I'm out of my comfort zone however now as I stand next to Zach as we wait to meet his parents again I wish I just stayed home.

After a beautiful night together we both woke up to his mom inviting us to a special dinner they were having at the house.

Zach took my hand pulling it and kissing it.

When we walked in we saw that this wasn't some quiet dinner oh no there was loads of people here.

" why do I have a bad idea about this" I whispered to zach as we walked inside. Zach smiled but you could see that it wasnt reaching his eyes.

Zach had explained to me in the car that he was ignoring his mom and this would be the first time since that day.

Cause that made me feel so much more better.

" oh son, great you're here" Zach's father came into the hallway after spotting us.

" nice to see you again Imogen" he extended his hand out to me.

I smiled " likewise" I said simply.

I watched him openly sigh " I know you feel really awkward but I don't want you to feel that way"

I had nothing against him I just wished things were different with his wife.

" it's fine"

Realising that this was going nowhere he patted zach's back before heading into another room.

" let's get this over with shall we" I said spotting his mom in the kitchen talking to some other guests.

She looked happy as she laughed with them but that soon changed when she noticed us.

" oh Zach you look very handsome" she said taking his hand and bringing him close.

I stood back silently as the women looked over at me.

" thanks mom, ladies meet my girlfriend Imogen" I widened my eyes as he reached back to me.

I could kill him.

" hello nice to meet you" I said kindly. I ignored the harsh look that his mom gave me.

" girlfriend?" One of the women asked moving her eyes over to zachs mom.

She shrugged " must have slipped my mind" she said trying to act nonchalant.

" did I hear girlfriend" a loud voice broke from the entrance.

I looked behind and saw an older man standing there.

" no fucking way you're back" Zach exclaimed.

" language boy " his mom commented.

But Zach ignored her as he ran up to this man hugging him tight. I felt embarrassed for even looking at this man a certain way but I can fly deny, this is a ridiculously handsome man for his age.

" well hello there, Zach introduce me to your girlfriend then " Zach turned to me grabbing me around the waist.

" gladly" he mumbled.

I blushed.

" Imogen baby this is my grandfather Oliver " I reached my hand out giving his hand a squeeze.

I had to bat away zachs hand of my waist. Can he not let go of me for one minute.

" well looks like we have some catching up to do let's go grab a drink shall we" I felt my body being pulled by them both as we headed into the kitchen/bar.
