Zach dropped me off at my house like he said he would. I knew that it might be difficult for him to make time for me since he has a lot of things lined up for work, but I decided that I would use this time to visit my parents.

I also knew that I would need to be an active bridesmaid for my cousin. I didn't hate her or anything, but she was an only child and quite shy, so she never really spoke to me when we had those big family gatherings. That's something I don't miss about living with my parents.

"Hey, quit it these are for my parents" I slapped Beth's hand away from my newly baked cookies. I'm not much of a baker but ever since I was little mom would always want me to bake these cookies she says they are better than the ones in the shop.

"just one, they're still warm" Beth moaned. She was on her way out but decided to try and steal one of my cookies.

"fine" I gave in, one cookie wouldn't hurt.

She plucked one from the rack and bit into it. her eyes rolled back, and she moaned embarrassingly. Probably the same way I moaned this morning. God thinking about it has me feeling hot. Zach really had me moaning hard with the way he made me feel.

"Have fun with your family, I'm out of here" Amber quickly ran out of the house leaving me to my thoughts.

I packed up the cookies into a big jar I had in my pantry and headed for my moms house. I decided to also finally message Jessica on my way there.

Hey Jess, congratulations on your engagement. I'm sorry I haven't contacted you sooner, but I'm prepared to be your bridesmaid if you want.

I was shocked when she instantly read it and was typing.

Omg really, I was worried you wouldn't want to but that means a lot Imogen. I've got a bridesmaid appointment for the dresses this week I would love it if you joined us x

Of course, I'll be there, just text me the dates x

This is jessica being her classic self. I was actually interested in seeing who the lucky guy was. I knew that her mother was always strict with her never allowing her to have a boyfriend. Don't get me wrong her mother is an angel but she is just a little bit strict.

My mom was always someone to talk with her when we needed her mother to just calm down. Mom has a lot to do with Jessica's relationship.

I parked the car in my parents drive and headed straight for the door.

I think mom was honestly surprised when she opened the door to see me standing there.

"Hey mom" I barely got my words out when she stepped out and wrapped her arms around me.

"oh, Genny I've missed you, why don't you come around more often" she pushed my hair back as she looked at my face.

I took her arm and walked us both inside. "I know I'm sorry I've just been so busy with work" I told her as we walked through the house.

"oh, honey I wish you told me you were coming I would've cooked and cleaned a little" she said looking around with a sad look on her face. Lucky for her I decided to grab some food on the way here.

"mom it's okay, I brought some fish, we can grill it and have some rice" I placed the bags on the kitchen counter. She looked inside the bags.

"is that my daughter I hear" Dad came around the corner. Once he saw me walked over wrapping his arms around me and placing a kiss on my head.

It felt good to be back home with my parents again I really did miss them. Dad started on cooking for us, me and mom sat at the kitchen island watching him. Both my parents can cook but out of the two dads was the king.
