My eyes are sensitive to the light. When the light came through the window it woke me up. It took me a while to get used to my surroundings and memories from last night came back.
I turned around and just like he promised, Zach was still here. Laying on his stomach, with his leg lifted up cradling a pillow, he looked adorable this way.
I smoothed my hand along his back and rested my head on his shoulders, I would just have to wait for him to wake up.
20 minutes later the sound of a phone ringing had Zach finally waking up. bless his heart he must be tired from yesterday and the fact he had to take care of me as well.
Like a zombie Zach stood up from the bed and lazily walking over to his phone. He pressed accept and put the phone to his ear. I watched from the bed as he did so.
"what did I tell you about calling me on my mornings off, I'm busy" Zach said with his grouchy and rough voice. I smiled to myself and sat up in bed.
"Just put them on my desk I'll be there after lunch" Zach said before ending the call. He took a sneaky glance behind him to wear I sat peacefully.
When he turned back around my eyes couldn't stop themselves as I stared at his body. His clothes were wrinkled. His pants low on his hips. Not leaving much to my imagination.
"Morning" I said smiling as I pulled the sheets further up my body. He walked back over to the bed laying down next to me. I started to run my fingers through his hair.
We laid like that for a while. I traced my fingers over his shoulders, he relaxed breathing in slowly and exhaling,
"c'mon I'll start on some breakfast; eggs sound good to you?" he said lifting his head up and sitting up. his hand was resting on my thigh.
He pressed his lips to mine as I nodded. Eggs sound perfect.
Zach used the toilet before heading to his kitchen. I followed behind him I sent a message to amber who was excited that I even spent a night here. She asked me to give her all the details later. I'm sure she was assuming that we did more than just sleep.
Zach was a true chef this morning, he cut up onions and tomatoes and Prepared bacon sausages and eggs. By the time they were about finished I was drooling at all the delicious food he had made.
We both sat at the table with our plates full of food.
"what's wrong, did you not like the food. I know I'm not an amazing cook, but I thought it was good" Zach sort of sulked as he saw the food left on my plate.
It actually made me feel bad for not finishing it all, but I could stomach anymore.
"I don't normally eat breakfast, well not like this. normally I take a breakfast bar and a coffee and I'm good" I told him. It was always a quick fix in the morning with no real thought into it.
He pushed my plate closer "well that's a mistake on your behalf. Breakfast in important so eat up"
I glared at him. "I really can't stomach anymore; I'm not used to it so its not that simple" I said to him
Zach could only glare at me, he was clearly annoyed at my response, it didn't take a genius to know that.
"well you need to start, I know you, you probably forget to eat lunch most days" I hated how he knew me well.
Zach wore a proud smile when I picked up my fork going to eat again.
"Don't be mad at me Gen" Zach came behind me he bent down and places kisses over my neck. it took immense will power to not moan or be affected or rather show how affected I was by the simple gesture.
