I watched Zach finally speak to Karly, they were standing over in the corner talking quietly with each other. I had no idea what they were saying but it looked like a really serious conversation that they were having.

I tended to Ade as he was puking his guts out in a trash bin. I managed to get him to drink some water after. He decided that drinking the Russian vodka all in one go was a great challenge for his birthday.

Idiot

"A warning would have been good" he groans into the bin. Hes older than me, I thought he was experienced and knew of the consequences. Considering that its straight from Russia, it was probably stronger than what he's used to.

"come on man, time for bed" Zach appeared from behind me. He helped ade up and took him inside. I watched him disappear inside.

Karly was cleaning up the garden when I looked for her. She was approaching that girl and honestly, I was scared for the bitches' life. I rushed over and started to help her.

The girl just sat there on her phone. Thanks for the help sweetie.

"you either help out or leave" Karly snapped when she glanced over. Ouch.

She looked confused but quickly stood up and ran inside. Hell, I thought she was going to help but instead she ran in to find Zach.

"pussy" Karly mumbled.

I smiled. "what did you talk with Zach about?" I asked her. I was curious as to what went down.

"you wouldn't believe it, Gen. The little bitch has depression and is relying on Zach to help her. Don't know if it's legit but he's worried she will hurt herself if he wasn't her beck and call." The news was unexpected I never thought that would be the reason.

But I honestly don't believe it, but I won't say that because it could be true and then where would that leave me.

"that's intense," I say to her.

She only nods her head agreeing with me. After we cleaned most of the mess that was made I hugged Karly goodbye and walked with amber outside to my car.

Too much has happened and honestly, I don't want any part in it. Amber kept quiet once I told her the details and even she wasn't convinced.

As I slipped inside my car I felt the burning gaze on me. Looking to my left I saw that Zach had exited the house his eyes were now on me. As I started up the engine he ran over to my side of the car.

"we need to talk gen," he said his breaths becoming deeper.

"there's nothing more I need to say. I'm not sharing you with her its that simple. Take care of her" I said to him quickly before closing my window and driving off. From the rear-view mirror, I saw him turn quickly and storm back inside.

Beth kept a light conversation with me as I drove her home. Regret seeped into me as registered what I said to him. I was being selfish but what woman would willingly want to share.

Obviously, she has a reason for him to be with her where there's me. Who just wants him because I like him. He might not like her that way but I know she loves him.

By the time I arrived home, it was very late in the evening. I made myself a hot chocolate and situated myself in front of the tv on my bed.

My mind kept wandering to Zach and what happened today. It was hard to get rid of the smile that he had on his face as he spoke to her and his old friends. After the last few months, he's had he deserves that happiness.

When it came to the morning or should I say afternoon and I could her my phone ringing I knew I was in for a treat today. I checked the caller and cringed when I as my mothers name on the screen.
