Chapter 16 | Kevin | Info That No One Knows | Part 1

I held the gun, pointing it at the boy that had fear in his eyes and his hands up. I could feel my dads blood drip down my leg.

"Who the hell are you?"

I said with fear.

"Chev, I was Jellybean's boyfriend. I can promise you I didn't do this, and if we don't get out right now we'll pass out any minute and not be able to report this to the cops the next town over. Please."

I dropped the gun.

"Where's Betty? We need her help, she said she was going to visit Jug."

That's when we started to look around, looking at the door we knew Jughead was in. Standing up we walked over to the door. Finding Betty, Archie, Veronica, Jughead, and the shooter.

I quickly picked up Betty as Chev ran over and picked up Veronica and nudged Archie, he didn't wake up. So Chev grabbed one arm and I ran over still holding Betty with one arm and grabbed Archie's side. Heading towards the door sneaking out with our sides to the door way, making a single filed line. Quickly walking towards the front door, making it out barely, soon we fell to the ground.

Seeing Mayor McCoy walk up to us. We all laid on the ground, her cold stair looked me right in the eyes. She stepped over my arm that had a small gap between Betty and I, heading for the station. That's when I heard her bloody murder scream, everything went dark.

As I woke up I saw cop cars, the writing was blurry that was all over the car. I sat up slowly, realizing Chev was already sitting up. He was staring at the station, tape was all over the building. I quickly stood up, seeing Betty in a ambulance. Then I saw Jughead in one next to hers. They were still out cold. Archie and Veronica were no where to be seen. I walked over to the ambulance Betty was in. Her mother was inside, sitting there. She then spoke.

"Kevin, what happened in there?"

"I walked in and saw all the cops dead, Chev was there as well. So I thought he did it but he proved he didn't. But I smelled a strong chemical, so did Chev. That's when I realized Betty went to see Jughead and we found her in there. We carried out the three of them. I promise I didn't do any of this Mrs. Cooper."

"I trust you Kevin. If it wasn't for you she probably would've breathed so many chemicals she'd be dead. So thank you."

I nodded as I started to walk away. That's when I heard Mrs.Cooper speak.

"Where are you going?"

"I need to check in on someone."

I quickly walked. Not stopping
my pace, I just kept going.

Soon I approached my house. It was brown and rustic. But yet it had a nice new smell and texture to some of it. I quickly busted through the front door. That's when I saw her, she was holding out a gun. Pointing it straight at me. I didn't know what she had done, but the small girl that was kidnapped and brought to same house Jellybean once laid in had something up her sleeve.

"Listen McKenna. I promise you I won't hurt you. I know you're scared, but it's okay."

"You're a true dumbass aren't you?"

I scoffed lightly.

"What?"

"Close and lock the damn door and then get on the floor."

I did as she said.

That's when she shot my arm. I screamed.

She then pinned me down to the ground. Dragging me across the living room floor. She pointed the gun at my leg, but the doorbell started to chime. All the curtains in the room were shut, so I ruled out bystander. She pointed the gun at my head.

"Get the hell up and get the damn door and tell them you're fine. If not, this bullet goes in your head. Got it?"

I nodded as I stood up, I grabbed a tissue. Looking at my hand I wrapped it. That's when I realized the blood was to thick, so I had to grab multiple off of the tissue box on the end table next to the couch. As I wrapped my hand I saw the tip of a pen sticking out of my jacket pocket. I knew what to do from there.

I opened the door, seeing Archie standing there. The glass door standing in our way I looked back over at her, I saw her behind the that was right next to the door.

"Hey, I just got out. I was wondering, can we talk. I have no idea what's going on anymore."

I nodded walking outside.

"So I'm highly confused right now."

I closed the wooden door and the glass one as well. Tightly. That's when I saw Archie look down at my hand.

"Hey what happened?"

I looked at the pen in my pocket. Grabbing it I quickly wrote on the small white part of the napkin keeping an eye on the door and window. I looked back st my hand. I wrote.

"The girl from the kidnapping. She's going to kill me if I go back in there. She's here."

I then turned it towards Archie, he nodded calmly. Pointing my head towards the door he nodded again as I silently asked him inside.

I opened the glass one first then the wooden.

"Yeah Archie it's just a bad cut."

He caught my hint.

"Dang I'm so sorry."

Looking at the living room she wasn't there, neither was my thin trail of blood. Making a wink, having it so it was just for Archie I started to head for the kitchen. Opening one of the drawer pulling out a gun for emergencies tucking it in my pocket, and having Archie take the switch blade and do the same.

"So what did you need to talk to me about?"

"I'm just so confused on the whole new phone update and I need help with it."

"Oh yeah sure."

That's when we sat on the couch, slipping off our shoes like nothing was going on. Then we quietly started to search the house for her after a few minutes of sitting there and fake messing with his phone.

Searching everywhere that's when we became confused. Standing in upstairs the hall way, I then looked up and saw the attic door right above us. I quietly pulled down on it. Making eye contact with her, she sprayed my eyes with bug spray. Then she pounced onto me. I tried my hardest to get her off of me, but her legs were on top of my shoulders, holding a knife up to my throat, I stood next to the window while she was still on my shoulders, she had a gun pointing at Archie. I could barely tell though, from the bug spray making my eyes bleed.

"You guys really think I'm that stupid? Wow."

I saw Archie pull a gun out of his pocket.

"No you really think with all this stuff that's going on here I would leave the house with out this? Wow."

Archie pointed it at her shoulder, the one closest to her heart, and my head. He shot her shoulder, then leg, then hand. Making her drop the gun and she dropped the knife from falling off me and hitting the window seal. Archie stepped on her stomach looking her dead in the eyes.

"Get in the damn truck."

She nodded. He had me go grab rope and tie her hands and feet up as he cleaned the blood up off the floor. He picked her up and helped her down the stairs.

That's when I opened the door and he checked to make sure the coast was clear. He shoved her in the truck that he drove here with. Slamming the door in her face.
