Jordie's POV:

Today was a pretty big day for several reasons, but one was that my mum was going to tell Ky who my dad was. She was originally going to wait a few weeks but I asked her to tell him sooner rather than later. However, she declined from telling Amalia and Cameron because, although Ky was pretty untrustworthy, he was old enough to understand not to tell anyone, whereas the other two were little and basically just did what they wanted.

Football training was cancelled but even so, I woke up earlier than I would usually do on a weekend and got up straight away instead of lying in bed for ages. My mum had said that Alex might be coming over again, but she wasn't sure yet. I really hoped he would - I hadn't seen him since Tuesday and it was now Saturday. I hopped in the shower and, after a quick wash, I got dressed into a plain black t-shirt and blue joggers. I wandered downstairs, smelling the scent of breakfast, and walked into the kitchen where Ky and my mum were sat, eating. Amalia and Cameron were at Darius's this weekend, so it was just me, Ky and mum at home. Creeping up behind my brother, I yelled out, making him jump.

"Ah! Jordie what the hell?"

"Kymal! Language!" Snapped my mum.

"What was that for, you idiot?"

I shrugged and helped myself to a bowl of cereal. "Mum have you told Ky the big news?" I said, through a mouthful of cornflakes.

My mum glared at me. "Jordie we agreed to talk about that later! And don't talk with your mouth full."

"What news?" Asked Ky.

"See what you've done now?!"

"Mum? What news?"

"About Jordie's dad." My mum spat, reluctantly.

"Oh. What's that got to do with me?"

"Cos he's proper famous, Ky." I added.

"Really?" Ky sat up in his chair. "Wait did you really find out who it is?"

"We did." My mum replied.

"That's great bro, have you met him?"

"Yeah, on Tuesday. That's why mum sent you to your room."

"Ohhh. To be honest, I thought it was because I put glue in this girl's hair at school."

"Kymal!" Yelled mum. I laughed.

"Anyway Jord, who is it?" Ky asked, eagerly.

"I'll give you clues."

"Alright."

"So he's a footballer..." Ky raised his eyebrows in disbelief. "...in the premier league." I continued. "They play in red-"

"Wait he is British right?" Interrupted Ky and I nodded.

"He's a midfielder and he plays for England, his dad was a footballer and he's got a double-barrelled na-"

"You're not talking about the Ox are you? Oxlade-Chamberlain? You're joking me if that's your dad?"

I nodded. "That's him, brother."

"Oh my god man, that's amazing. Well done." Kymal gave me a bro hug.

"But you can't tell Amalia or Cameron." Interjected my mum. "And Alex and his wife may be coming over this afternoon so don't bother them."

Perrie was coming too? Of course, I'd already met Perrie so we'd have to make sure not to let it slip that we'd crossed paths. Honestly, I was quite happy that she was coming. I liked her and I wanted Alex to see that I was happy for her to be my step-mum. I wondered if they were going to bring Tommy and Lillie, and I was about to ask my mum when I realised that I shouldn't actually know about them yet.
