Perrie's POV:

I was really missing Alex. I didn't like him being away for this long and it was beginning to affect my concentration. Every time I had a free moment, all I thought about was him. I just kept losing focus thinking about every little detail of him. His smile, his eyes, his abs...

"Perrie watch the road, you're swerving."

I blinked out of the daydream and realised that I hadn't really been paying attention to the road.

"Shit, sorry." I swore.

I refocused on the road. I was driving Jordie to football training and it'd been quite a trek; I'd had to drive all the way to Burnley first and now we were on our way to the training ground. Alex usually drove him but obviously with him being away for the Euro's he couldn't so I'd decided to be nice and get him there rather than him having to get a taxi on his own. The kids were staying at Ellie's and I was due to pick them up the next morning. Vanessa would probably be fuming that I was having anything to do with her son but oh well, I didn't care about her opinions right now. I was still very annoyed at her little stunt - I just couldn't understand why she'd done it.

We got near to the club and Jordie's phone pinged. After reading it himself, he read it aloud.

"'Get a taxi or something, whatever just don't go with her or you probably won't even get there.' Bit late for that." He read the text from his mum. I was fuming.

"Ugh, she can shut the fuck up." I said I little too loudly. "Sorry, I know it's your mum but I'm really mad at her right now."

"I don't blame you." Jordie replied humorously.

"I guess you heard about what happened." I sighed and he nodded. "Sorry about that."

"It's alright. I've heard worse." He said, worryingly casually.

"Doesn't she have a boyfriend?" I asked wonderingly.

Jordie nodded. "Yeah she does. I don't think he knows about the Alex kiss and I don't think my mum's going to tell him. To be honest, maybe it's better off if she didn't. If there's yet another fight at our house, I think I might have to start living in Liverpool." He joked.

I laughed but then turned serious. "How is that situation now? Sorted?"

"Kinda. I think Darius has just about got his head around the mum and Mike situation and isn't so jealous."

"And Alex told me about something you mentioned. About your stepdad possibly hurting you?"

"Darius? It's complicated. He's an aggressive person, especially when drunk or angry but his main issue was jealousy and now that him and mum are 100% split up, it's not so bad. Anyway, I know how to avoid him and if I'm ever in an unsafe situation I know what to do."

I sighed. "I guess I'll just have to take that."

"Unfortunately, that's the best answer I can give you." He shrugged.

"Still, Alex worries about you. And so do I for that matter."

"I'm fine, honestly. Darius is only a problem if you let him be a problem. He feeds off fear and I'm not scared of him so he can't affect me."

"Okay."

"Let's have some music to cheer us up." Jordie said, fiddling with the screen in the car. He put on the radio and we listened to music for the rest of the short ride. Finally, we arrived at the training ground.

"Is there anywhere you wants me to go to meet you after?" I asked. I was planning on going shopping or something whilst Jordie trained as he would be a while.
