Alerrie: His Son

Eleven.

Perrie's POV:

My third pregnancy reveal to the girls was definitely more of an accident than intentional. We'd just been for a meeting at our record label and were now having lunch at Leigh's. I had kept them up-to-date on the whole Jordie situation and we were now discussing it.

"I can't believe he actually came all the way up here." Remarked Jesy.

"Yeah, what is he? 14, 15?" asked Leigh-Anne.

"13." I answered.

"Jesus, when I was 13, I was too scared to go into town, let alone skive school and get on a train to a different city." Jade laughed.

"He's a brave kid is Jordie, and determined. You know, he wanted to meet Alex and he didn't think anything was happening about it so he decided he was gonna make it happen himself. It's amazing really." I said. The girls nodded in agreement.

"So when are you letting the press know?"

"I'm not sure. His mum says she doesn't want him in the public eye right now and we're gonna respect that, but something needs to be said at some point. We're a pretty high profile family and for him to be a part of it, he's going to have to be in the media, you know?" The girls all nodded.

"So did their meeting go well?" Leigh-Anne asked, talking about Jordie and Alex's encounter the other day.

"Yeah, really well. Jordie wasn't annoyed at Alex at all for not being in his life, which is something he was worried about, and they had a really good catch-up. I think Alex is excited to have a son old enough to have actual conversations with. Don't get me wrong, he loves Tommy but the kid's two, you know?"

"Yeah I get it." Said Jade, nodding. "I have to admit, I can't wait to have girly chats with Molly. But at the same time, I don't want either of them to grow up."

"My two are far too troublesome for their own good, but I know I'll miss them being this small in ten years." Added Leigh-Anne. We all nodded.

"So Jesy, is there a secret you want to share? Another bun in the oven by any chance?" Leigh-Anne asked, cheekily. We all laughed and I thought of the irony that she was asking the wrong girl.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you girls but one baby is plenty for me right now. Although, I might fancy a second in a year or so." Said Jesy.

"We'll keep note of that then, Jess."

"Hey, does anyone want some food?" Asked Leigh-Anne and we all replied with an eager 'yes'. There were soon multiple pizzas in the oven and she had begun to dish out breadsticks, crisps and crackers.

"So have you met his mum yet?" Asked Jade.

"Yeah, briefly. She seemed ok, quite serious but not too cold."

"What does Alex think of her?"

"He didn't say much really. I guess he knew her back in the day so she's probably the same as she was back then. He did say that she seemed kinda annoyed though, every time he's gone to see her. It's might just be the situation though - she probably thinks her kid's getting taken away from her or something."

"Is she married?"

"No, and there's no partner or boyfriend as far as I know."

"So do you think she might try something on Alex? They do have history." Suggested Jesy.

I was a little shocked. "No, I don't think so. I mean, she knows I exist and that Alex is happy with how things are. And I don't think she's that kind of person to be honest. Anyway, even if she did try something, I trust Alex and I know that he wouldn't do anything to hurt me."

"I agree Pez. I can't imagine Alex cheating in a million years." Said Jade.

Especially not when I was pregnant.

The oven beeped and Leigh-Anne quickly rushed over to take the pizzas out. Jade got four plates out of a cupboard and soon, we were all ripping slices off to eat. It was a good pizza and I was famished, so I hungrily devoured several pieces in very little time.

"Slow down Pez, you'll give yourself indigestion." Laughed Jade.

"Have you already eaten your whole pizza?" Asked Jesy.

"Maybe." I replied, timidly.

"Jeez Perrie, you must've been hungry." Said Leigh-Anne.

"You'll put on a few pounds eating like that babes." Joked Jesy.

"Lay off of me girls, I am eating for two!" I laughed, before realising what I'd just done.

Oops.

"Two? Perrie you're pregnant?!" Questioned Jesy.

I sighed and held my hands up in surrender. "You got me."

"Oh my god, that's so exciting! How far along are you? When's the baby due? What gender is it? Or genders? - Oh my god is it twins?" Asked Leigh-Anne.

I laughed. "It's not twins Leigh, relax. Well, I don't think it is anyway."

"I can't believe you didn't tell us sooner. You've become very secretive with your secrets babes."

"I'm sorry. I was kind of planning on telling you with Alex but it just slipped out."

"Don't worry about it. So come on, give us all the details. How far along are you? When's it due?"

"Well, I'm about halfway through and the baby's due date is in July."

"Oh my god that's so soon! How are you not showing?"

"I am, but I'm doing a pretty good job of covering it up."

"You definitely are, I had no idea. Let's see the bump then."

"Ugh, ok." I reluctantly obliged and pulled up my jumper and top so my abdomen was exposed. Instead of my usually flat stomach, there was a small bump.

"Perrie oh my god, how did we not notice?!" Cried Leigh-Anne and they all reached out to touch it. I shrugged.

"I'm guessing you've been avoiding hugging people then?" Jade asked.

"Yeah, I have." I laughed.

"So when are you going to Instagram official it?"

"In a few weeks. It's just getting too hard to hide."

They nodded. "So, is it a little girl or a little boy?"

"I don't know, and I'm not going to find out either. It'll be a little surprise for everyone."

"Oh Perrie, this is amazing! I can't believe there's going to be another baby mixer!"

"Have you told the label yet?"

"Not yet, but I guess I'll call them at some point today to let them know."

"I guess Alex will have four kids now." Suggested Jade.

"Yeah. Wow, that's weird to hear." I laughed.

Just then, my phone buzzed and I pulled it out to see a text from Alex.

Alex❤️🌍: Are you free now to meet Jordie? His mum said I can go down to see him again and I'm leaving in like half an hour. Do you want to come?

I jumped up off my chair. "So sorry girls but do you mind if I head off? Alex is going down to se Jordie again and wants me to come."

"Of course, go see your stepson!"

I hugged them all and then left, wondering how Jordie and I would do at pretending we'd never met.
