Last Chapter: "Wait, Perrie knew about this?"

                             "Oh shit." He swore.

"I'll be right back Jordie." I said, leaving the room to find my wife...

Perrie's POV:

I was in my study, group face timing the girls. We were working on some new music, compiling some lyrics into a song, and it was going well. We'd sorted the chorus and a couple of verses, but there was still a lot left to do - also, it was only the first draft so it would need to be edited heavily before it would be ready to record. Other things we were talking about were press and promo - the kind of videos and interviews we would like to feature in to promote our next album. We had plenty of new and refreshing ideas and couldn't wait to put them into action.

We weren't that far into our brainstorming session when my door suddenly swung open. I flinched and turned around to see Alex in the doorway, looking a little agitated.

"Fuck, Alex, you scared me. Do you need something?"

The girls stopped speaking, waiting for our conversation to end.

"Yeah, actually. Can I speak to you for a second?"

I glanced at my computer screen, my eyebrows furrowing a bit.

"Um, we're kind of in the middle of something, can it wait?" I asked.

"Uh not really, I really want to speak to you now." He said, in a slightly demanding tone.

"Fine." I sighed. "Sorry girls, I'll be back with you in a sec."

"Alright Pez, bye." Said Jesy as I ended the call.

I spun round in my chair to face Alex, who'd closed the door and was leaning against the wall. "Ok, what's up?" I asked.

"Nothing, apart from the fact that Jordie just accidentally revealed that he'd been here before. And that you knew and didn't tell me."

My heart plummeted. Shit.

"Oh." I whispered, softly.

"What happened, Perrie?" He asked, sternly.

"Alex, I'm so sorry, I didn't meant to-" I began.

"Just tell me what happened." He interrupted.

I gulped nervously, scared of what he would say.

"Um, well, Jordie caught the train here-" I started.

"What day was this?" Alex interrupted me, again.

"Well I'm not sure of the exact date but-"

"No. Day of the week?"

"Oh, I'm not sure of that either but it was definitely a weekday."

Alex seemed to be even more unimpressed at this revelation.

"So he caught a train up here and got directions to the house." I continued. "And then he climbed through a hole by the gate and walked up the driveway and rung the bell. I answered it and neither of us knew who each other was. He thought he'd got the wrong house and I thought that I'd left the gate open and this boy had wandered up it thinking it was next door's place, because he said he was looking for a man. Anyway, it was cold and I didn't want him to have to wait outside so I invited him in so he could wait for Mr Robinson to get back. He then told me his name and I realised he was your kid and he wasn't trying to find Mr Robinson at all, so I told him he'd have to go home because he'd get in loads of trouble but he didn't want to leave. Long story short, I convinced him to go and drove him back home. Jordie didn't tell his mum and I didn't tell you so he didn't get in trouble." I finished, nervously wondering if I'd told that in too much detail or not enough.
