Perrie's POV:
Alex was being weird. After me and the kids had got home, he'd greeted us and he seemed sort of preoccupied. Before we went to bed, I decided to ask him what was up.
"Alex," I inquired, as I walked into our bedroom, "is there something on your mind?"
He looked up nervously.
"Look, I don't care what it is, I just know there's something so would you please tell me?" I feigned confidence. In reality, I was terrified of the outcome.
Had he cheated? Was he leaving me? No, no, I was just making myself paranoid.
"Perrie, there's something I really need to tell you, but you're going to have to promise not to freak out." I nodded and he walked over and sat me down on the bed, holding my hands.
"My mum called me today." Nothing unusual there. "She had some pretty important news that she needed to tell me. A woman had been in contact with her - one of my ex-girlfriends from just before I moved to London. And she says that I have a son."
I looked up at the ceiling in disbelief. Alex had a son?
My first thought was to freak out and get angry, but I quickly realised that Alex hadn't actually done anything wrong. Well, apart from getting a girl pregnant God knows how many years ago, but that was a whole different matter entirely. I took a deep breath.
"Alex how did this happen?" He raised his eyebrows. "No, I mean how did you not know?" And then I had a thought. "...or did you?"
"No, no, of course I didn't!" He replied. "His mum and I, we dated for a bit and then we broke up when we were like 16 or 17. Then shortly before I left for Arsenal, we had a night together." He looked a little ashamed. "I moved away and she never told me she was pregnant."
I tried to take it all in. What a mess it was.
"What's he like, the kid? Do you know?"
"Not really, no. His mum sent me an email this morning. His name is Jordan - Jordie, he's thirteen years old and he doesn't know who I am." I nodded.
"Poor kid." I muttered. Alex looked up.
"And why's that?"
"Cause he's never met you. Anyone who's met you is lucky." Alex smiled and pulled me into a hug.
"Thank you for being so supportive," he whispered and kissed the top of my head.
"It's not your fault babe, and me being angry solves nothing. We're going to do this, but we're going to do this together. So no more secrets, just tell me right away, OK?"
"Ok. I love you." He added.
"I love you too."
Just then Alex's phone beeped and he went over to check it."
"It's from his mum." He clambered back onto the bed and opened the email.
"To Alex,
Hope you're doing well. I'm writing this to tell you that Jordie knows you're his dad. It wasn't in the plan for him to know right away but life doesn't always go as planned does it? He's still trying to take in the fact that you're his dad and that you're a celebrity, and that might take some time. In the meantime, your mum suggested that you and I meet up to discuss what will happen. I know you didn't reply to my last email but I'm hoping that that was just because of the shock. I would really appreciate your cooperation in this.
Here's my phone number in case you ever need it: (phone number)
Thanks, Vanessa Forrest."
I read it quicker than Alex and waited for him to speak. He didn't, so I took matters into my own hands.
"What are you going to do?"
"I guess I'm going to meet her. Is that OK with you?" I nodded.
"Right now though," I replied, "I think you should reply to that email, or text her, so she thinks you have at least some interest in this." He nodded and typed her number into his phone. After five minutes, he told me he'd arranged to meet with her in a week.
That night, I had a Friends marathon to distract me from my worries, before slipping into bed. There was so much going on for me and I wasn't sure I could handle it. And with all of this drama, I wouldn't be able to tell Alex about the 'situation'. I just hoped that it would all turn out okay.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed that segment. I'm thinking of doing a different POV for each chapter but I'm not sure if I'll stick to it xx
