Alex's POV:

I arrived at the station at 5 PM, just as Jordie's train was due. I had to sit in the car to make sure no paparazzi saw me, but I'd texted Jordie to tell him where I was in the car park, so I expected him to find me with no trouble. About 10 minutes later, I looked out of the window and saw Jordie strolling towards me, wearing a burgundy hoodie, black jeans and trainers and with a black backpack slung over his shoulder. Unlocking the doors, I waited for him to hop in.

"Hi Alex." He said, climbing into the passenger seat.

"Hey mate, how you doing?"

"Alright, school was a bit shit but I'm still alive."

"Hey, I'm a cool dad and all but your mum would probably kill me if she knew I was letting you swear so just tone down the language, alright?"

"Oh, sorry." He laughed. I started driving to to house.

"Perrie and I are going to tell the kids about the baby today."

"Right, cool. That's a lot of big news today isn't it?"

"Yeah, but we just thought that since both things need to be announced pretty soon that it would be better to tell them like now."

"Are they all at home now then?"

"Yeah, the kids and Perrie."

"How are you gonna do it then? Both reveals?"

"Well we were thinking that with you, we're going to sit them down and explain it because it's super confusing and if you just jump out of somewhere they're going to be very confused. Perrie said she'd talk to them about it before you arrive."

"And the baby?"

"We're gonna have them draw a picture each of the family and then add a baby to them."

"Cute. Are you not worried that all this news will confuse them?"

"A bit, but they need to know, so we're just going to try."

We pulled up at the house and, after Alex had navigated through the gates and parked in the square, both of us jumped out and headed for the door. Alex pulled his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door and we stepped inside. As far as Alex knew, this was the first time that I'd been to his house, so I pretended to marvel at it. To be honest, it wasn't hard because I really did find it amazing, even if it was the second time I'd seen it. Alex handed me a can of coke and then led me into the living room, which was massive. I sat down on one of the white sofas and immediately sunk into it. Alex sat in one opposite.

I heard footsteps and soon I saw Perrie peeking her head round the door.

"Hi." I said.

"Hey, I've got a couple of people who really want to meet you." She replied, and walked into the room, carrying Tommy and leading Lillie in by the hand. She plopped Tommy down on the floor and he and Lillie stood, staring at me with curiosity.

"Ok kids, do you remember what I was saying earlier, about daddy's son?" Perrie said, whilst kneeling down. They both nodded.

"Well this is him. This is Jordie. He's your brother."

"Hi guys." I said.

"So- so he's our big brother?" Asked Lillie.

"Yeah."

"He's so big." Stuttered Tommy. I smiled at him.

"Yeah he's 13! Can you count to 13, Tommy?"

"No." He replied.
