"You gotta be kidding me!"

"Just sit down and wait until Mr. Hunter calls you in."

Stupid, stupid. It was one punch. The damned kid asked for it. The principle's office door opens and Hunter gives me a stare. "In." I got up, and strolled into his office. I go over to his chair and plop myself down in it.

"Out of my chair, Harukou." I put my feet up on the desk, popping my gum. "Do you want suspension that badly?" I chuckled. "Hell if I care." He moved toward me, grabbing my wrist. "Get u-" I squeal and yank my arm away. "RAPE!"

"Harukou!" I grinned and get up, proceeding to lean on the wall. Hunter sighs. "Suppose you know why you're here." I rolled my eyes. "A retarded tattle tale nerd" "You punched someone, dead in the face. This is your 29th warning today. I have to call your parents. You'll be sent to juvenile once they get here." Hunter picked up the phone and called Veronica and Steven.

Minutes later, Veronica and Steven burst into the principle's office. "Mao this is the last time!" Veronica said, practically spitting venom. "Mr and Mrs. Harukou," Hunter eyed them, as in to sit down. They sit down, Steven on my left, Veronica on my right. "Your daughter, Mao, both punched, and threatened a kid that she was going to kill them, thirty minutes ago."

They both look at me, with a grin on my face, I start laughing. "She, as well, has appeared to give off every trait of a sociopath." I look at everyone and raise my hands in the air. "OH GOD WATCH OUT! I'LL KILL YOU!" I laugh. Hunter hit some buttons on the phone and called Officer Jason in. "Take her to math room 405, stay in there until the police show up. I can't keep her in here."

Jason headed for the door with my hand in his grip when Steven stood up. "Bring her back in here." My heart dropped. Veronica looked at Steven. "What'dya want?" I said, my voice slightly shaky. Jason shut the door and let go of my hand.

"I asked you a question." He's drunk, without a doubt. "Get over here." I walk over to Steven, not showing fear. He grabbed my wrist, raised it in the air, as high as possible. I hold back the pain and try pulling away. He smacks me across the face and tries to grab my other arm. I scream, and bite his arm.

He falls to the ground, groaning. "You fucking bitch!" He was bleeding. I stare at Hunter and Veronica. "Grab her damn it!" Officer Jason reached for my arms, I dodged his large body, shoving him in the wall and opening the door, running out.

Hunter starts to chase after me when the police arrive at school. "Harukou!" Hunter yells at me. "I'm going to math!" I laugh, running to my math class. I open the classroom door and shut it holding it shut. "Mao, you shouldn't be here." My math teacher says. "Mao!" My friend Remi whispers loudly. I head-up Remi and realize that both the cops and Hunter were at the door.

"Class, please stand up and go out the emergency exit." All the kids get up and run to the emergency exit and run out it. Remi runs over to me and grabs my hand. "Come on! We'll go to our secret spot in the back!" I nod and put desks behind the door then run, Remi behind me. We quickly climbed the fence and skidded down the dried up canal. "Go, go, go!" Remi says, running behind me, shoving me forward. "You punks get back here!" We hear them shoot at us as we duck down into tube on the side of the canal.

We made it into our hidden hideout. Looking at each other, we grin, panting for air. "Lucky for us, they can't get in here." I whispered. Remi nodded. "What'd you do?" You know, like, reveal the real me and nearly killed that shitty foster parent." Remi held in a laugh. "Good one." We smile at each other and hit fists together. "Boom."

I take my jacket off, putting it on a hook above the tube. "Can't you believe we made this? Aside from the cement and stuff." He nods. We hear sirens near by trying to find me. I look down and mess with my hands. "Isn't this fun? Hiding from the cops?" Remi hesitated, then nodded. "What?" I tilted my head. "It's nothing, just really tired." He stretched and grabbed a pillow from a concealed plastic bin. Looking at me, he offers a pillow and blanket to me. "Thanks. We'll be in here a while."

"Three days max?" I shrugged. "Approximately, yeah." He nodded, and laid down for a nap. I do the same.

Around a couple hours later, I hear gun shots and Remi screaming at someone. I quickly get up and get out of the hideout. "Remi are yo--" I froze and see Remi, next to one of the cops.  "Hands in the air, if you do not listen, we will shoot." I stare at Remi, raising my arms in the air. Cold metal touches my wrists, then clamps shut. At this point I didn't care. I just stared at Remi.

I was shoved into the back of the cop car, I couldn't think right. Who ever the cops were, they were talking to me. "Okay?" I filled with rage and tried to get out. I banged my head against the wall and screamed. I'd snapped. "OUT! I WANT OUT!" I screeched. I restlessly tried to get out of the car. I lost energy and passed out.

(Props to my buddy @shangriyeet for precious Remi~♡)
