Ashlyn's dad was leaving today so just like always, they were spending the day together

"So you're not opening the flower shop today then?" Her dad asked her as they packed for their hiking trip

"It's gonna open but Finn's in charge." She replied tying her laces

"Okay that's good," he replied

The flower shop was always a laid back kinda job, there was never a rush and you had time to chill and be okay. That's what was amazing about the flower shop. There was no rent to be paid, only an electricity bill and it was low because normally there was sunlight out when the shop was open so there was hardly need for electricity.

Finn was hanging up the poster boards when the front door's bell rang, signalling someone came in the shop

He turned and froze, it was the guy who kissed Ashlyn. What was him name? David? Daniel?

"Good morning," the guy greeted and Finn mustered the widest smile he could and put his hand out

"Hi! I'm Finn!" He managed to say very enthusiastically

"Dean," the man replied and Finn smiled

"What can I do for you?" Finn asked looking at him

"Umm, is this where Ashlyn works?" Dean asked

Finn grinned widely in his mind

"She works here but she's not in right now, did you need something?" Finn asked

"Just tell her I want a bouquet for the patient, she'll know what I'm talking about," Dean explained and Finn nodded

"Anything else?" Finn asked

"Um, so here's the thing, I really like Ashlyn but I think I scared her off when I kissed her." Dean said, Finn nodded

"I can tell you that you didn't scare her. But she definitely needs some time to wrap her head around it cuz this sorta thing is very new to her. You have to understand," Finn explained

"I don't wanna force her into anything but I really like her and I'll settle for friends if that's what she wants," Dean said and just like that Finn knew they were perfect for one another and had already began planning their wedding in his head

"She doesn't hate you nor is she scared, just give her time and she'll come around." Finn promised

"Alright, I need to get to work, thanks man," Dean said, making his way to the door

"No problem and good luck," Finn winked and Dean saluted and left, already making plans to win Ashlyn over
