"Daddy!" Ashlyn called as the door opened and her father walked in
"Hey sweetie," he said, tears coming to his eyes as he caught his daughter and squeezed her tightly. That was one thing he regretted, he had to be away from his beautiful daughter
"I missed you," she told him as they parted
"I missed you to," he replied, pressing a kiss to his daughter's head
There were knocks at the door and her dad smiled and walked to get it
"Thought I saw you come in," Dean said, smiling at Ashlyn's father
"Hey Dean," he replied, giving the man a brief hug
"Take care of the house and my girl?" He asked Dean whose eyes flitted from the man to Ashlyn who was avoiding eye contact with him and his smile faded
"I actually came to talk to her," Dean admitted and Ashlyn casted her eyes on him
It was weird with them now, I mean, how could it not be? They literally were pressed up against each other, on a bed, in their underwear.
Ashlyn was lost in her thoughts, snapping out when her dad went upstairs, leaving Dean and Ashlyn alone downstairs
Ashlyn walked over to the sink and began doing the dishes
"Ash," Dean called, following her
"We didn't sleep together, if that's what's making you upset, nothing happened," he swore and Ashlyn sighed
"You don't get it. I wanted it to happen," she admitted and Dean bit his lip, watching as her eyes hardened as she watching him tug his bottom lip into his mouth and she growled and pushed him against the fridge, kissing him for all he was worth, he moaned as the wind was knocked out of him and she pulled his bottom lip in her mouth
"Told you don't bite it," she said and pulled back with a sigh
"I really like you Dean, but it's hard for me, I don't want a relationship but I like you alot and I'm trying to warm up to the idea of being in a relationship again," she explained, tears of frustration threatening to fall
Dean cupped her cheeks and pecked her lips twice
"It's okay, we'll get through this yeah? We'll take it in stride, one step at a time," he suggested and she nodded, giving him a hug, this guy was actually everything she wanted
Neither of them saw her dad standing at the bottom of the stairs, folded arms and satisfied smile on his face. He had waited for her daughter to get with Dean, he had sensed the chemistry they had from the first day they met, it was a chemistry he hadn't seen since his wife died. He couldn't be happier for his little girl
