Dean threw his head back and laughed, feeling happiness filling his lungs, it had been two hours that Ashlyn was over at his place and she was making him laugh like crazy, she was so funny

"What do you call a bunch of unorganized cats?" She asked him

"A CAT-astrophe," she finished and he started hitting his thigh and laughing

"How many tickles does it take to make an octopus laugh?" She asked him, drinking some water

"TEN-tickles!" She said, making him laugh and little tears formed in his eyes

"What's the difference between a guitar and a fish?" She asked, Dean anticipated waiting for the punchline

"You can't tuna fish," and that did it, he began crying with laughter, his throat was sore, his stomach began hurting and his eyes were watering

"You tell the dumbest jokes," Dean confessed, still laughing

"Made you laugh though," she admitted, taking up a potato chip and placing it in her mouth, smiling as Dean continued laughing

She was looking at the painting behind Dean and Dean took the time to study her

Her hair smelt like strawberries, and was a chestnut brown with a hint of a hazelnut twinge, her skin was tanned and smooth, her eyes were a smoldering green that felt like it could read someone's soul, her body was slim but had curves in all the right places. Her legs were long and were currently hid in her blue, form fitting jeans, and her hips jotted out beatifully. His eyes travelled back up to her face and his eyes caught her lips, they were naturally pink, but right now they were coated in a bright red lipstick that suited her and were full and plump

He bit his own lip as she fluttered her eyelashes at him, innocently.

He didn't know what he was doing as he took her cheek in his hand and slowly, pressed his lips against hers and his eyes closed. She tensed but allowed him to kiss her, no one moved for a while until Ashlyn's hands found the back of Dean's neck and that's when it felt like fireworks were being shot at them

Ashlyn slowly started to kiss back and as Dean's hands moved from her waist to her hips and he began sliding them up her t-shirt she pulled away

"Fuck. I-I can't," she said, running her hand through her hair and getting up

"Ashlyn, I shouldn't have-" he began, feeling bad that he made her uncomfortable, but she cut him off

"No, it's not that, I just- I have to go, bye Dean," she said as she left, running across the street to her own house and immediately called Finn

"Yello?" He answered

"Get over here now." She spoke and hung up, not giving him a chance to question her

She sat by the door of the bedroom, with her knees drawn to her chest, only moving when she heard panicked knocks at the bedroom door and she reached an arm up amd opened it and Finn came running in, holding a giant brown paper bag

"Lyn?" Finn asked, looking around in panic

"Here," she spoke, looking as he turned around and sighed in relief before a worried look overtook his face and he put the bag down before sitting next to her

"What's wrong?" He asked her

"Dean kissed me." She said, sighing, Finn slowly blinked, not quite seeing the problem

"And?" He asked, shrugging

"I felt something," she said and that's when all the dots connected in Finn's mind and he gasped

"Like how?" He asked her

"He kissed me and we just sat there frozen then I started kissing back and there was just a genuine connection that scared me, so I pulled away and came home," she explained and sighed

"It was bound to happen Ashlyn, you know it, it's gonna be okay," Finn promised, kissing her hair to which she nodded with a smile then her eyes caught the paper bag and Finn's eyes followed

"When I told my mom you sounded serious, she packed some mac&cheese and some fresh baked cookies, and I grabbed a tub of snickers ice cream on my way," Finn said and Ashlyn smiled. Finn was an actual sweetheart and the best friend anyone could ask for.

"I'm gonna eat all that," she admitted making him laugh, they went downstairs and she sat on the sofa while Finn put the ice cream in the freezer then joined her on the sofa

"We'll share," he told her, opening the kit of mac&cheese and two forks

They shared all the food Finn had brought while watching The Winter Soldier

But even as they watched the movie, guilty blue eyes haunted Ashlyn's mind and made her antsy
