Ashlyn sighed as she crossed the street from her house, she wasn't going to Dean's but she was going to sit by the bench by his house, it looked comforting honestly, she walked over, hands in her pockets, hearing the heavy clunks of her combat boots as she sat down and just began to think about life
Dean had been in the basement training since he had the day off, and had just walked back upstairs to towel off when he walked into the kitchen and saw her and his jaw dropped
The sun was in the midst of setting so the stray rays, caught in her honey blonde hair and created a halo of light around her. She looked so pure and beautiful like an angel. Hell, she was his angel.
He looked down at himself, black shorts, trainers, hat and shirtless, he decided he could go outside like this
He walked up and cleared his throat slightly as she looked up at him then her eyes glazed over as they took him in
"Hi," he said, taking a seat next to her
"Hey," she replied, trying not to look at the dents in his hips
"You look like you're having a dialogue with yourself out here," he joked as she chuckled
"Something like that," she admitted, raising her eyebrows
There was a brief moment of silence where Ashlyn's eyes focused on the profile of Dean's face, just looking at him. There was no doubt that he was beautiful. His eyes were a sterling blue that held hope and a shine that made her feel warm inside. His eyes glanced at her before he turned to her fully
"What're you thinking about?" He asked, tilting his head, she loved when he did that, exposing his smooth, lightly tanned skin to her piercing green eyes
"You." She answered
She smirked as he averted his eyes back to the front and a light pink blush rose from his neck to his cheeks
"Why me? I ain't anything special." He admitted
"You intrigue me." She replied
He blushed impossibly more
"How so?" He asked
"Just cuz I don't feel normal around you," she said
"You make me feel like I'm worth it. Like I'm worth loving." She told him
"Cuz you are worth loving, and everytime I look in your eyes, I feel myself falling," he admitted
She looked at him and smiled and they spent the rest of the evening watching the sun set and somehow that was at peace the both of them had felt in a long while and they loved being with each other, felt natural.
