Jayy's POV:

I sat with Dahvie on the couch as he told me about a girl who kissed him today during snack time "Dahvie do you like her?" I ask and he looks at me as if I was crazy "Eww no girls are gross" he laughed and I smiled "Then who will you be with when you're older?" I ask and he thinks for a moment
"You" he smiled and I giggled as he took my hand and put a plastic ring on my finger "We'll be together forever" he smiled and I blushed "F-forever...you promise?" i ask and he smiled "I promise" he says with his pinky finger up which I wrapped with mine
"Wait I have and idea" I grabbed a piece of string from my pocket and tied it around his finger "Sorry I don't have any rings" I sigh and look down and he lifts my head "Its perfect" he smiled before kissing my cheek...
Now here I am sitting in a field of grass playing with my plastic ring Dahvie gave me when we were 5 years old and today I just turned 16 and its been 10 years since Dahvie moved to Arizona and I'm stuck in California.
I sigh at the memory when someone began talking "Uh can I sit with you" he asked and I just shrugged "Yeah" I say simply and he started laughing "You still have that?" I was about to ask what he was talking about when I looked up and saw Dahvie "Oh my satan! DAHVIE!!!" I attacked him in a hug and he laughed hugging back
"Why did you leave me!!" I cuddled to his chest while we laid in the grass "I promised we'll be together forever Jayy, I couldn't do anything about moving or I would've stayed with you" He said and I smiled and realized he doesn't know I'm gay and I'm cuddled on his chest..
I pull away from him and sit up quickly "Sorry" I mumble and he lifts my head by my chin "For what? Do you have a girlfriend or something?" he laughed and I smiled a little but it faded "No I'm gay" I say simply and Dahvie looks at me as if he was trying to process something
"Thats good" he finished and I was gonna say why when I felt his lips on mine, I kissed him back and it was bliss. He pulled away an blushed "Forever" he said an smiled "Promise?" I ask and he smiled holding up his pinky "I promise" he said as we wrapped out pinky's together before he attacked my lips once more
