I looked through my shelf of movies trying to find one Jayy would like, I kinda just wanna have a day for just us, just two friends watching a movie...
Friends. That word dwelled on me. I half to admit, just being his friend is enough, I sigh a little and grab a random movie throwing it in the dvd player. "I'll just let the previews play and make popcorn and ask" I say to myself so I don't chicken out
I walked down the hall and to the kitchen quickly making a bag of popcorn before grabbing it and a couple soda's before making my way to Jayy's room.
I took a deep breath and knocked on his door, a few seconds later he was in front of me. "Sup Dahv's" he said with a small smile
I silently gulped "H-hi Jayy, wanna watch a movie with me?" I ask and he smiled "Yeah, I was just re-watching a couple rupaul's drag race episodes anyway" He shrugged before turning off his t.v and following me to my room. So far so good
I sat on my bed and Jayy followed my steps, sitting on the other side of me. I grabbed my remote and pressed play on the movie. Jayy relaxed a little and leaned on my side, I smiled and wrapped my arm around him.
He always does this when we watch t.v. or movies, but he only does it to me. We've had friends come over and he never has once done the same. Frankly I didn't care because this was bliss.
I felt him reach for my hand and interlock our fingers together, making a smile crawl onto my face, simple things he did like this always made me smile. Even though I knew he meant it in a friendly matter.
I honestly had no clue what movie we were watching, Austin left it here a while back and I'm barley noticing it's a gay movie. About 2 guys who met while studying at the library. I felt my face burn a little as they were on on of the guy's bed watching t.v. not looking much different than Jayy and I, but then they slowly leaned in for a gentle kiss.
It wasn't anything major, just a soft peck on the lips. I sighed knowing Jayy is only my friend and will never know my true fee-
My thought was cut off as I felt Jayy's hand move under my chin, leading me in to a soft, gentle kiss like the movie has just shown. When we pulled away I grinned like a dork at him "W-what was that for?" I ask, never letting the smile crawl off my face
He hid in my neck for a second before replying "I love you, I just thought that's how I should tell you." He replied as a blush crept on his cheeks. I chuckled and lifted his head up kissing him a bit rougher before pulling away "I love you too."
