The next day

I woke up the next day and checked my phone to see the time, it was 10 am, that was late for me since I usually wake up at around 8 am. While checking the time I see that I have two missed calls from Zion that said 6 hours ago, I opened my phone and went to the calls and it said 3:30 am. Why was Zion calling me so early in the morning? I decided to shake it off and go eat something. I made an egg sandwich with bacon and cheese. I sat down on one of my bar stools and started eating and going through my notification.  I scrolled through my Instagram and read the comments and looked at the likes.

Woah that went up, I usually only get around 2k on a good day, that's probably because I'm hanging out with Zion now. I continue to scroll through my Instagram and check my Snapchat and other social medias. I finish eating and get up and wash my dishes in my sink. I decided to walk back to my room and to call Zion back. He answers on the first ring.

Hello" Zion said

"Hey, you called?" I asked him while closing my door and making my way to my bed

" Uh ya, I wanted to know if you were up but by the second call I could tell you weren't," Zion stated

"Oh ya, sorry," I said

"It's all good, what are you doing today?" Zion asked me. I haven't really put in any thought of how my day was going to go, I thought about and realized the only thing I had to do was post.

"Nothing, I just have to post, why?" I said while laying on my bed

" Well, the boys and I were trying to go out but they are bringing their girlfriends and I'm not trying to 9th wheel," Zion says and I chuckle. If they are bringing their girlfriends then why did he ask me, does he like me like that, I wouldn't be mad if he did, but I don't know what we are so if going out with him today will bring me closer to that answer then i'll take my chance, plus I need to meet as many people as I can while I'm out here.

" Ya sounds good," I said, completely ignoring the "bringing their girlfriend" parts.  "Quick question Zion," I said, I'm going to bring up the way he ghosted me yesterday, I just want to know.

"Ya?" Zion said in a questioning voice

"When are you coming to pick me up?" I asked. I chickened out of asking, I don't know why, maybe because if he was with another girl I wouldn't want to know, it's not like we are dating or anything but seeing him with Jessica and her commenting on his stuff kinda hurts. I think I am really catching feeling for this boy but I want to take it slow.

" Ha, you made it seem like something happened, um in about two hours, is that okay?" Zion asked

"Ya, see you soon," I said

"Okay see you soon babe" Zion said and with that, the call ended. Did he just call ME babe, nah now I know I am catching feelings. When he said that I felt butterflies in my stomach. 

I had to start getting ready, I'm going to do my makeup full out, I don't know why but I just have those days when I feel like doing my makeup. I get up and grab my towel and head to the bathroom, I pull out my waterproof speaker and hit my shower playlist. God's Plan by Drake starts playing and I hop into the shower.

SHE SAY, DO YOU LOVE ME?, I TELL HER ONLY PARTLY, I ONLY LOVE MY BED AND MY MOMMA I'M SORRY. I scream the most basic part of the song. Five more songs came on before I got out of the shower. I take off my shower cap and wrap a towel around my body so I can go pick out an outfit. Before I go and pick out an outfit I grab my phone, disconnect from my shower speaker, turned the speaker off and then turned on my Bluetooth sound system in my room. I connected my phone to it then hit my Getting Ready playlist. The Weekend by Sza comes on, I sing along to it while picking out an outfit. I end up picking out an easy but cute outfit.
