Chapter 31

Jordyn's P.O.V

"ZION!" I yelled to the boy currently taking a shower in my bathroom. We were supposed to be meeting the boys at their place to hang out, apparently Nick and Austin have something to tell us. Ever since that day after Jay came back Zion has slept over at my place whenever possible. It's like he's moved in, he made a mess of my place and I am always picking up after him but along as he is here with me I'm good. This is technically the last month I have here in L.A, I'm deciding if I'm staying here or staying home that's mainly the reason why I haven't told anybody.

Zion walked out of the bathroom with only a towel around his waist, his hair was soaking wet and beads of water were dripping off every individual dread onto my floor. I couldn't help look at the beautiful giraffe in front of me, everything about him was memorizing, I wanted to kiss him so bad but I can't, I don't want Zion or anyone to persuade me to be here I want to make the decision on my own and if I decide to kiss him that won't end well for either of us, so I just stared.

"You like what you see?" Zion asks with a cocky smile on his face

" Nah just wondering why you dripping on my clean floor," I say trying to act like I don't like what I see

" Uh huh, I needed a towel for my hair," He says

"And you couldn't have put on clothes and used the one around your torso?" I ask him

" Oh so take this off right now-" Zion says while grabbing his towel and undoing it

" Nope nope nope," I say while covering my eyes and cutting him off before he can fully take off the towel, he just laughs " I'll get you a towel damn," I say while heading over to my supply closet. I grabbed a towel and handed it to the him. " Here," I say. I tried to walk away from him but he grabbed my waist and turned me around to face him.

"So no kiss?" Zion says with a smirk on his face causing me to blush

" Friends don't kiss" I state while trying to move away from him but his arm tightens around my waist

" Than let me be your boyfriend," Zion says, I smile and shake my head

" Zion" I whine

" What Jordyn? You know I'll keep you safe and I know you like me so don't even say you don't. I've messed up a lot but I think I've proved to you that I want you and only you. Jordyn, please let me be able to call you mine" I look up at him and give him a weak smile, I then take my hand and place it on his chest and push him away.

"Zion I can't, at least not now. I like you too but now just isn't the time for me" I say truthfully. I don't want to get into a relationship if I don't even know if I'm staying here or going back home.

" J, just talk to me, let me help make it the right time for you," Zion says while grabbing my hand

" Zion I can't OKAY, just please give me a few weeks and you'll understand okay, just please wait for me," I say to Zion

He pulls his hand away from me and mumbles "whatever" while he walks away. That hurt me, I want to call him mine with all my heart but I don't want to get into a relationship just to move away a month later.

We are currently in the car driving to the boys' house. Ever since that incident at the house Zion has been distant with me, he won't talk or even look at me. The last thing he said to me was " you're out of toilet paper".

He's blasting music in the car with the windows down. I hate when people do that, especially with obnoxious music. Normally I would ask Zion to turn it down but I don't want him to yell at me so I just went on my phone.

Minutes later we pulled up the boys' place, Zion walked out of the car and went straight to the front door. Damn, he's mad at me, he didn't even open my door for me. Maybe I should have said yes, I feel so bad.

As soon as I get inside I see the boys and give them all hugs. I see the girls and walk over to them, immediately I notice our group is smaller. There is only 3 of us

"Where are Fifanny and Alexys?" I ask the girls after we exchange our hellos and hugs

"I don't even know, they might be late,," Charlotte says, Tifanny nods in agreement

"Can everyone come into the family room" Austin shouts

" FAMILY MEETING!" Nick yells. We all slowly trickle into the family room and sit down on the couch. Everyone is in the room except for Zion, since he is the last one to show everyone watches him as he walks into the room and picks a seat. Zion looks at me than the empty seat beside me and rolls his eyes. Instead, he sits beside Brandon and Charlotte. That hurt me so much and I'm pretty sure everyone saw him because Nick gave him a concerning look and Tiffany nudged my rib and mouthed "what's wrong" I shook my head and smiled. "Nothing" I replied.

" So as you guys can problem tell by the lack of her being here, Alexys and I are no longer together" Nick starts

" And same with Fiffany and I," Austin says. Zion was slouched in his chair but when he heard this he was now sitting up straight.

" What happened?" Zion asked, wow that's the first time in awhile that I've heard his voice, it's still beautiful

" People change, You change, you lose the spark," Austin says which makes everyone nod their heads in agreement

" Oh and just because we aren't dating them anymore doesn't mean you guys can't talk to them, we are still both on talking terms with them," Nick says clarifying

" Damn, how did you both lose your girls than Zion gets one," Edwin says laughing, I look over at Zion who has a serious look on his face, he looks at me

" Nah, it ain't even like that" Zion says then gets up and leaves the room. Everyone looks at me and I feel sick.

" What happened?" Austin asks me while sitting down next to me

" Nothing I promise," I say trying to reassure them, Charlotte looks at me

" You're lying, I know when you're lying," Charlotte says, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in

" Uh, so this morning at my place Zion asked me out," I say and then everyone smiles wide

" Then why is he mad?" Brandon asks

" I said I wasn't ready for a relationship, he asked why and I said he'll find out soon, he kinda got mad and said 'whatever', I don't know what to do" I admit to the group, they all nod

" We understand, just talk to him and maybe tell him why so he doesn't think you are playing with his feelings," Edwin says, I nod and smile. I hear a phone ring and soon realize it's mine. I looked at it and looked at the caller ID

Unknown Caller

Oh hell nah. I declined but the number called again, then again, then again. I sighed and got up and answered it on the fourth ring.

"Hello?" I asked

"Jordyn?" The voice on the other line sounded too familiar. I couldn't help but let tears stream down my face.
