Chapter 18

Jordyn's P.O.V

I woke up the next morning to 11 missed calls from Zion and a couple of texts, they just said to call him when I wake up. I look at the time which read 12:16 pm, wow, that's late for me considering I wake up at 8 every morning, well I have been tired lately and I have been out late for awhile so it makes sense. I decided to wait to call Zion until after I use the bathroom.

Ten minutes later and I finished my bathroom routine, I decide to call Zion. After two rings he picks up.

" Hello," Zion says

" Hey, you called, 11 times?" I ask Zion while walking to my kitchen 

" Ya, Steph gave me the info for our date, we are going to the pier again," Zion says

" Wow, so that must be our spot huh," I say while grabbing a bowl

" I guess so," Zion says

" So when are you coming to get me?" I ask Zion while pouring some cereal into my bowl

" In an hour, after we are going to hang out with the boys then they'll probably go live so we can commence that phase in our relationship," Zion says

" Ill text you when I'm ready because I might need some more time," I say to Zion

" Okay, let me know, see you soon," Zion says

" See you soon," I say and with that, the call ended.

I ate my food and washed my dishes, I headed over to my closet and picked out an outfit and then headed into the shower. I connected my phone to the speaker and started to play Freaky Friday by Lil Dicky since it just came out today and I am really digging it.

20 minutes later I get out the shower and put on my outfit, I decided to wear a Pokemon shirt and some black shorts. I start to do my makeup, I decided that today I am going to leave my hair out so I put some product in it. 

It was now 2:14 so I texted Zion saying he could leave. 20 minutes after sending that text Zion texts me saying that he is outside. I quickly unplug my phone, grab my bag and put on my navy blue Nike's. When I walk outside I see Jessica standing talking to Zion through the passenger side window, Zion's smiling, when he sees me his smile drops. Jessica turns around and looks at me and rolls her eyes then turns to face Zion and continue talking.

" Excuse me," I say to Jessica, she ignores me

" Excuse me," I say again a little louder, she still ignores me

" Excuse me, Jessica," I say this time removing her from my way

" What the fuck? What was that for?" She asks me so dramatically

" I asked you to move three times, you ignored me, you saw me coming but remained where you were, I decided to move you since you clearly needed some help," I say, not caring too much and putting my bag on the floor of the car

" That's why you a hoe" She mumbles under her breath

" I'm the hoe, really caus-" I was really about to go off on her until I felt Zion's hand on my thigh gripping it hard, I look at him and he mouths " stop" to me, I decided to let it go

" Whatever Jessica, you are out of my way so there is no need to continue this, don't you have  a job to attend to?" I ask her, she just walks away. I sit in the car mad, mad that she just disrespecting me like, I am anything but a hoe. Zion lifts his hand from my thigh.

" What the fuck Jordyn?" Zion asks, it was more of a statement though, I can tell he is mad

"What, she came over here disrespecting me," I say getting really defensive, if this boy doesn't stop talking he is going to regret it, he has not seen me when I'm mad, the Toronto in me comes out.

" No, YOU came over here and pushed her," Zion says emphasizing 'you'

" Ya because I asked her to move twice then once when I pushed her, sorry for wanting to go on a 'date' with MY 'boyfriend'" I say to Zion while emphasizing 'my' and putting air quotes around 'date' and 'boyfriend'.

" Don't do that" Zion says while looking at me with sad eyes as we stopped at a red light

" What defend myself? Sorry I have to since my 'man' won't do it" I say and put air quotes around 'man'.

" Jordyn," Zion says and reaches for my hand, I move my hand and point at the light

" Greenlight," I say, Zion resumes driving, Zion was getting on my nerves, so the car ride was pretty quiet, just listening to music, I could see Zion glancing over at me a couple of times, I either looked ahead or through the window.

When we got to the pier Zion and I just sat in silence for like two minutes. Zion was just staring at me, I saw his mouth begin to open and I start to grab my stuff.

" Look, Jordyn," Zion says and that all I can hear before I open the door and begin to walk away, Zion runs up to me

" I'm sorry," Zion says, I turn around to face him just staring at him, Zion was about to say something else when we heard a bunch of clicking and people calling out our names. We turn around to see a bunch of paparazzi, I guess Steph tipped them off

" You two dating?" 

" Are you guys fighting?" 

" What are you sorry for Zion?" 

" Are you only using Zion for fame Jordyn?" I looked back at the person who asked that question, about to respond Zion comes and pulls me out of the circle of reporters

" How's Jay? Is it true that he is back in town Jordyn?" A reporter asks me, what do they mean " back in town" and how do they know about Jay?

" How do you know about him?" I ask the reporter

" Jordyn stop" Zion whispers into my ear, " What would Steph say?" Zion asks me, I get out of his grip and ask the reporter again

" How do you know about him?" I ask her, she puts her mic in front of my mouth

" Well, he has been tweeting old pictures of you two, talking about how he wants you back and all that stuff, so who is he?" The reporter asks me

" A mistake from my past" Is all I say before walking away, I hear more clicking sounds and see flashes from cameras as I walk away, I hear them throw more questions out but I ignore these ones. Zion just looks at me with disbelief as we walk together. I don't really care, people were getting on my nerves since the whole Jessica incident, I was in an IDGAF mood, I'll probably regret that sooner or later but right now I'm pretty pleased with myself.
