Chapter 33

Jordyn's P.O.V

Today I woke up early. Well early enough to go for a run around my neighbourhood. I was really trying to run away from my problems but that didn't seem to work. I couldn't get the thought of my mom out of my head, I just want to visit her. These could be her last day, I know that she will be perfectly fine but doubt keeps crawling back into my head. My mom has surgery in a couple of days, she decided on getting a double mastectomy. My phone kept blowing up due to the fact that I just posted a new Youtube video. I am just days away from hitting a million and I'm so happy. 

I finished my run and got back to my apartment. I was about to run through the back alleyway of the complex to get some extra miles when I spotted Jessica. Smoking?  

HOLD UP

Jessica can't be smoking, she's kinda pregnant, unless she isn't. Maybe she just wants the baby to get fucked up.  I didn't know what to do but I also didn't want her to see me so I quickly turned around and ran to the front lobby. Once I got to the lobby I was out of breath, for some reason I sprinted, I really didn't want her to see me. The recent moments just playing over in my head. 

Should I tell Zion? I have to, right?

As I entered my apartment my phone started to ring. I saw that I was receiving a Facetime call from Zion. I answered with a smile beaming on my face.

"Hey," I say once Zion's face fills my screen,  I take a closer look and see that he wasn't smiling, he looked, stressed?

" What's wrong Z?" I ask him 

" Stephanie found out about Jessica's pregnancy," Zion says, for a split-second I forgot about the whole Jessica thing

" She's really mad and I have to go to a meeting with her and my PR team," Zion says, I nod, I realize that this might be the right time to tell him what I saw

" Zion, are you even sure she's pregnant?" I ask him, his face went from sadness and stress to confusion and anger in seconds. 

" Why would you even ask that Jordyn?" He says in a deep tone

" Well I'm just saying, she won't let you go to the doctor's appointments, she isn't showing and I'm pretty sure I just saw he-" I say before getting cut off

" I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK YOU SAW BECAUSE WHATEVER IT WAS IT ISN'T TRUE. SHE IS PREGNANT WITH MY CHILD, YOU NEED TO STOP BEING SO MEAN AND PETTY AROUND HER BECAUSE MY CHILD IS INSIDE OF HER AND IM GOING TO LOVE IT. SO STICK YOUR NOSE OUT OF MY BUSINESS" Zion yells through the phone, I was shocked and scared at his sudden outburst.

" Zion that's not what I meant I wa-" I try saying before getting cut off for the second time

" I don't even care anymore Jordyn, I gotta go"  Zion said before I was left with three beeps signalling that the call has ended.

I'm so confused by the recent events, nothing is making sense anymore.

THE NEXT DAY

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing, damn I thought I put it on Do Not Disturb. I roll over to the other side of my queen sized bed and checked the caller I.D.

I quickly accepted the call.

" Hey," I say into the phone

" Woah did you just wake up," Charlotte asks me

" Ya, what time is it?" I ask

" It's 2 in the afternoon," Charlotte says with a disapproving tone
