-Isaac-
Scott has been posted as Derek's personal bodyguard, so he must be by Derek's side during the times he has duties to tend to. Which is everyday apart from Saturday.I've been assigned a job too. I felt useless and bored for the first few days residing here. So I requested a job position, and Derek immediately suggested I be Stiles' man-in-waiting. I'll get paid and I get to spend time with one of my closest friends. It's a win-win situation.
Apparently Derek was having a difficult time finding someone trustworthy for this position. So it was a no-brainer for him to hire me. After all, I am already mated, and said mate is Derek's trusted friend. I mean, I'm not mated-mated, but I have a mate. Besides, I have. I interest in Stiles like that. I love Scott and no one else.
"Isaac!" Stiles yells as he runs down the large marble corridor, right towards me. "I'm so happy Der hired you!"
"Stiles!" Cora shouts from behind me. The both of us spin around to see her and Queen Talia walk towards us.
"Do not run around like a child Stiles," Queen Talia scolds. I look over to see Stiles blushing and looking down in embarrassment. "I know it must be exciting to live in such a luxurious place so suddenly, but you will become a king alongside my son one day. I suggest you start acting as such."
That's a little harsh. I know Stiles is feeling insecure about the whole 'not-knowing-how-to-act-like-a-prince' thing. "My apologies your Majesty," I speak, bowing. "Stiles' prince lessons have not yet-"
"I don't care about that," she says. "Maturity has nothing to do with his prince lessons." With that, she walks past us and down the corridor, her gorgeous silver heels clicking against the pure marble.
"Don't listen to her, Stiles," Cora says, giving him a light hug. "She's just stressed about the Argent's sudden visit."
He just nods and walks off, I hurriedly follow after him. I need to make sure that he'll be okay after that. You can never really know with Stiles sometimes.
-Scott-
"Stiles will be okay, yeah?" Derek asks as we walk to the meeting room. Queen Talia requested a meeting to discuss the Argent's unannounced visit. Derek has been fretting over leaving Stiles to his own devised the whole walk there."I can assure you Derek," I say. "Stiles is fine. Isaac is with him and he won't let anything happen to him. He's fine."
"What about his prince lessons?" Derek says. "What if the tutor is terrible and makes Stiles feel inadequate."
I sigh. "Even if that happens, you'll be there to help and comfort him."
"I'll feel better when his father starts working as his bodyguard."
I just roll my eyes. He's going to always worry, so there's no point in trying to comfort him. It' s not going to help him.
As we take our seats in the meeting room it gets immediately tense. Because when Queen Talia and Cora enter you can just tell that something happened on the way here. Cora has a really sour expression and Queen Talia is scowling.
"What happened?" Derek asks.
"Well, your-" Queen Talia starts but is cut off by Cora.
"Let's discuss the Argent issue first, then we can talk about what happened."
Derek sighs but nods and we proceed to discuss what we should do about the Argent's. We came to the unanimous decision that if they do anything to sabotage or harm the royal family, they will be permanently banished and our alliance will be abolished.
"Now tell me," Derek says, leaning forward. "What's got you both in bad moods?"
"I think you should go see Stiles," Queen Talia says with a huff.
Derek scowls and immediately stands. "This discussion isn't over.
Well, whatever happened can't be good if Queen Talia is acting so bitterly.
