A/N This chapter has a little bit of fluff in the midst of the angst.

Enjoy!

-Scott-
I have to say, when Derek is mad he is terrifying. When I entered his office just after he did, he was throwing all the contents of his desk around the room.

"What happened?" I ask him lightly. I don't want to include him anymore than he already is.

"My mother is being a bitch!" he growls. "She wants me to reject Stiles because apparently e is the child born from the sex-slave human case seventeen years ago!"

"Well it would line up with his age," I hesitantly say.

"I don't care who his parents are! I am not going to reject my mate."

"The only way to get your mother on your side with keeping Stiles is to prove that he isn't the child." I reason.

Derek sighs and rests his hands against the back of his chair. "Fine. I'll get a DNA test with John and Stiles. If I can prove that John is Stiles' dad, then it means he is not the child."

"Sounds good," I nod. "I'll set up an appointment with Doctor Deaton."

He huffs. "Can we get another doctor to do this?" he asks. "I don't trust Deaton with this sort of thing."

I nod. "Of course we can. I know exactly who to ask for this job.

-Isaac-
I open the door hesitantly. I know that Stiles broke down when Derek left, so I gave him some time alone. But I really am worried about him.

"Are you feeling better?" I ask, spotting him leaning over the bed.

He shrugs. "I'm probably overreacting," he says. "I'm sure that when Derek comes back he'll have an explanation as to why she's acting so off right now."

I nod. "What are you doing?" Noticing he's packing a back, shock shoots through me.

"I'm thinking ahead," he says. "If something goes wrong when Derek comes back, I'll give him some space and stay in the room next door to Dad. He's moving in today."

"So he's officially resigned then?" I ask. It's a two day wait for John's resignation form to go through.

"Yep, I was going to help him move in, but the workers here beat me to it."

I smiles a little. I don't think Stiles will ever fully settle into this luxurious life. It's part of his charm, and hopefully Derek will always love that about him.

There's a knock and Derek's head pops into the room. "Stiles? Can we talk?"

He nods. "Sure."

"Scott's outside Isaac," Derek tells me.

I nod. "Thanks." I walk out to leave them be. They need to have a serious discussion.

Scott immediately pulls me into a hug, I let out a sigh of relief and bury my head into his chest, letting his warmth and smell comfort me.

"What a day," he murmurs as he rubs my back. "Let's get some food and have an early night."

I nod, pulling away from the hug. "That sounds really, really nice."

He wraps an arm around me and we head off to the workers quarters where they serve dinner. Hopefully it's something delicious.

After dinner we return to our room to cuddle. Scott has me pressed against his chest while silence fills the room. But I have a lot of questions that needs answers to.

"What happened today with Derek and the Queen?" I ask.

He sighs and pulls back a little so he can look down at me. "Apparently Stiles is the child of the sex-slave case. Queen Talia wants Derek to reject him because she doesn't want 'that kind of blood' in the royal family."

"What?!" I exclaim.

"Don't worry," he says, smiling warmly down at me, stroking my cheek. "Derek and I are sorting it out, they'll be okay."

I nod, letting out a sigh of relief. "As long as word doesn't get out about it."

"It won't." Scott presses a warm kiss against my lips. "Let's get some sleep. It's going to be a busy day tomorrow."

I nod and bury my head into Scott's chest again. "I love you, Scott."

He hums. "Love you too, Isaac."
