I paced my steps faster... keeping the files closer to my chest not letting them fall, hand bag, protein shake on my other hand.
I reached my destination. I don't know how to knock this damn door with my busy hands.
I bit my lower lips as an idea popped in my mind...
"Mr Jeon, can I come in...?" I asked.
No reply came... I checked time. 15 mins left for arrival... that's means I'm early today.
I pushed the door by my shoulder and enter in his cabin. I placed my bag, his files and his protein shake on the desk.
I arranged some of the papers and folders which were messed around his desk... my eyes turns towards the quick sound as the door opens swiftly revealing Mr Jeon.
"You're such a early bird." He flopped down on the couch. He was breathing heavily as sweat dripping from his forehead.
Mr Jeon always comes after his morning workout.
"I'm here to serve you right." I handed him his face towel. Even being his company's secretary... I felt like an assistant. Who worked from morning until the night comes...
"Good job, Taeren." He smirked.
Mr Jeon started to wipe the sweat... from his forehead, face, neck... I tried to focus on today's schedule while passed his protein shake in his hands. His fingers brushes against mine... made me feel butterfly in my belly.
Shaking it off...
Just focus.. focus..
I repeated again and again in my mind as I continue to do my job.
I took my planner in my hand and started to read out... "On 9:00am... Meeting with Mr John, 10:00am.. breakfast with Mr Lee, 2:00 pm... Conference meeting followed by meeting with Mrs Nanny--"
"How many meetings we have...?" He asked. I looked in his direction... as he opens the cap of protein shake... ready to drink. His soft lips meets the bottle... sipping into it.
I simply said... "15."
"What?!" He almost choked in his drink.
"If you don't skip this time. I hope we will able to complete today's target. Starting with Mr Choi's Project..." I handed him Mr Choi's Project file.
I don't even know... why he skip work sometimes.
"Mr Jeon do you need anything else? Or I can take my leave so that I can arrange the meetings..." I asked.
