Shu's POV
I woke up at 8am to the sun shining right in my face through my window. Really needed some curtains. I checked my phone like every other teenager and seen I had a shit ton of texts from Valt. He knows I don't wake up to my phone being spammed. I can easily sleep through that, haha. All the texts were about he's so pumped for today's Beyblade tournament. He has to face Lui Shirosagi... If that fucker even tries to fight Valt without it being in the bey stadium, I'll kick his ass.

I arrived at my boyfriend's house and when I walked in his room to see him, he was so happy and pumped that he decided to tackle me to the ground.
"Woah! Easy, Valt, haha! What's with you?"
"I'm pumped to beat Lui!"
He exclaimed as he sat on top of me, punching the air. I love it when he's this happy and excited.
"Come on! We gotta get to the arena!"
"You gotta get off me first, haha."

I sat front row in the audience as the announcer called Valt and Lui out for battle. I cheered for my boy who was looking really focused. He was serious and determined to win this battle. The ref readied them.
"Ready... Set!"
"3... 2... 1... Let it, RIP!"
I was so nervous because I know how strong Lui is. My stomach was filled with butterflies and knots, there was no telling what kind of trick Lui will pull. So far, Valt was doing great.
"Get him, Valt!!"
I yelled out to him. I clinched my jaws baring my teeth. I wanted my boy to win this.
"Victory goes to Luinor with a burst finish! The score is 2-0!"
Dammit... Valt almost had it.
"Come on babe, you got this."
I thought to myself.
"Ready... Set!"
The ref called.
"3... 2... 1. Let it, RIP!!"
Everyone yelled out. I crossed my arms over my chest and staring Lui down. I knew he was gonna try to pull something, and I was right!
"Valt, look out!!"
"Ahh! Shit!"

Reader' POV
Shu tried to warn Valt to get out of the way, but it was too late. Luinor was too strong and sent Valtryek flying out of the arena and hit Valt in the face hard. Seeing that gave Shu flashbacks to when the same thing happened to him. When he got his scar.
"Victory goes to Luinor, with a burst finish! The score is 4-0! Lui Shirosagi wins the match!"

Shu's POV
I had seen some blood on Valt's face as he gathered Valtryek and headed to the locker rooms. I raced back there myself to check on my boyfriend.
"Valt! Valty!"
I shouted for him. I found him in the bathroom looking at the wound that Lui gave him. I grabbed a cold wet paper towel and walked over to him, putting it on the wound gently, startling him a bit.
"Sorry baby..."
The wound was also across his right eye, but his was closer to the bridge of his nose and the cut was longer at the bottom. I helped Valt clean his wound some more, and when we finally got it to stop bleeding, I noticed how his eye ball was.
"Valt, I think you got a piece of your bey in your eye. Its really red."
I told him.
"Ah, that's why it hurts so much..."
Valt said with almost no emotion at all. It hurt me to see him like this. I saw tears begin to well up in his brown eyes.
"I failed, Shu... I really am a terrible blader..."
"Valt!"
I grabbed both of his shoulders and began lecturing him.
"Valt, no matter what Lui says, you are no means a terrible blader. You're an awesome and wonderful blader and you're gonna make it to the top. I believe in you, Valt Aoi. You are one of the best bladers ever and an even better friend/boyfriend. Forget what anyone else says, they don't matter. Do you hear me? I love you Valt, and you're one of the best bladers."
I looked into Valt's brown eyes that were still filled with tears, but I saw him begin to smile. The smile that I love so much. I pulled him closer by his hips and put my lips on his. I kissed my Valtryek blader passionately and fell in love with him even more.
"We need to get you to the emergency room and get that piece of Beyblade out of your eye."

They were able to get the piece out of his eye, but when the saw his wound they said that he had to have sutures. They gave Valt five stitches and they would dissolve in two weeks. I grabbed Valt's hand as we walked back to his house and tell his mom and the twins what happened. We were kinda relieved that they were out making bread deliveries though.
"Wanna just chill in my room?"
Valt asked.
"Yeah. Cool if I spend the night?"
"Sure."
We got up to Valt's room and he suddenly collapsed on the floor from exhaustion. My eyes widened, not expecting him to collapse. I knelt down on the floor next to him, and smiled as I kissed him on the forehead.
"You should probably eat something Valty. I haven't seen you eat anything all day."
I told him. Right when I said that, Valt's stomach started growling.
"Ugh... Doesn't sound like a bad idea at all..."
He said. I couldn't help but laugh at him a bit.
"I wouldn't be laughing, Shu. I haven't seen you eat either..."
"Yeah, well I'm not hungry."
I said as I put my hands behind my head. Of course, when I'm trying to seem confident in front of Valty, my stomach doesn't defend me by also growling, making me blush hard.
"Ehh..."
"I'm sorry, what? I couldn't hear you over your stomach growling, saying otherwise, hahaha."
He said jokingly. We headed downstairs and into the kitchen. I started to fix Valt and I up some of my pasta that he loves so much.

"Here you go, babe. Eat up."
I told Valt as I set down a plate of pasta in front of him. I sat next to him and scooted over to him as close as I could, I wanted to try something.
"Valt, grab this end of the noodle and put it in your mouth, I wanna try the Lady and and the Tramp thing, haha."
I said as I handed him the other half of a noodle.
"Oh, ok!"
We did what the dogs did in the movie, Lady and the Tramp. We both loved Disney movies, so I thought it would just be cute to do I guess, haha. We chewed on the noodle at each end and we met in the middle as our lips met. We pulled away as we heard a car door slam outside, knowing it was Mrs. Aoi and the twins.
"Hello, boys! Sorry we're late, we had so- Valt!"
And she saw his wound... Just thinking back to Valt getting hit in the face because of Lui turned my stomach.
"Valt, what the hell happened?!"
His mom asked. He still wasn't able to talk about it without breaking down, so I explained it to her.

I hate ADD. I keep getting side tracked by the tv or any simple thing writing this! But I finally finished this one so enjoy! I'll do a small thing later of what Valt's scar looks like.
