"Sh-Shu...?"
I walked slowly over to him.
"My name is Red Eye."
I jumped back at the sound of his voice. It was deep and I didn't know if it just naturally got deeper over time, or if the mask was causing it.
"Red Eye? You're Shu."
"Shu as you know him, is gone!"
I gasped at him. I don't think he even recognized me at all. I walked over to him slowly and tried to hug him, but he pushed me off of him.
"Shu! It's me, Valt! I'm your husband!"
He shook his head at me as I stared at him with tears streaming down my face.
"I know who you are, but I don't want you in my life."
My heart shattered.
"You really aren't Shu..."
I ran out of the building crying hard. I had to find a hotel or something, but I did plan to get Shu back. I wasn't sure how yet, but whether it was battling him in Beyblading until I win or just having to remind him of everything we've been through, I'm getting my husband back.

I still couldn't get what Shu said out of my head. I ended up fucking up again. I added more to my arm and couldn't stop crying. I had already called the others and told them about Shu. They said they were heading here to help me get the real Shu back, and I was glad. What I didn't know, was that Silas was coming too. I don't know why he was, he helped bully me in Spain. It's probably just so he can battle Shu.

Everyone got here the next day and Kuza was with them too. Kuza was my newest bud and I was glad he came. I wasn't in the best mood when they all got here, so I know I didn't seem so excited to see them.
"Valt! Hey buddy!"
Honcho shouted. We high fived as usual and we all talked for a bit. I lead them to the hotel I was staying at and helped them check in. Daigo and Kuza were gonna share a room, Honcho and Wakiya, then me and Silas wouldn't be sharing a room. I wanted privacy and Silas just isn't the sharing type.

We headed over to the Raging Bulls' gym to look for my husband, who I planned to get back.

"What do you mean Shu isn't here?!"
"He left this morning. Said he wanted to travel the world to find the most worthy opponents."
Theodore explained to us.
"Do you know where he said he was going first?"
I asked.
"He said something about Mexico. I'd go there first."
I nodded as we all left. Wakiya lead us to his private jet to head to Mexico. We didn't know where in Mexico he was, but I was gonna find him, and get my Shu Kurenai back.
"Where do you think he even is in Mexico?"
Honcho asked.
"I have a theory. There's a place there called 'The Snake Pit' and only the strongest of bladers train there, or bladers who wish to become strong."
Wakiya explained to us his thoughts. It did sound like something Shu would do, so that's the first place we were gonna search.
"Alright, so we're going there first. We are not taking any pit stops either once we head out, so if you need to do something, do it now."
I demanded. I didn't want anything to slow us down from getting to my husband back. Honcho would be the one to most likely need to take a shit during all of this.

We were already walking through the forest, trying to get to the Snake Pit. We had been walking for probably 15 minutes at least. I was being very watchful for actual snakes, I hated them and I wasn't trying to get bit or even see one.
"Are we there yeeeet??"
Honcho was already started... Great...
"No, Rantaro..."
I answered.
"Wha-!? You never call me Rantaro! What happened to Honcho?!"
"Dude, go easy on Valt. He's focused on Shu. He's missing him."
I heard Daigo tell Honcho. I accidentally got hooked on a thorn bush by my bandage wrap, ripping it off. Everyone turned around and they all saw my cut up arm.
"Valt..."
Daigo said quietly.
"What did you do?!"
Honcho asked
"Uhh... I.."
I couldn't get any words out and everyone was staring at me, waiting for an answer. Tears started coming down my face.
"Valt, did you do this to yourself?"
Silas asked as he held my arm out to look at it. Silas actually gave a shit? Since when?
"Ye-yeah...".
I finally answered.
"What's going on?"
Kuza asked.
"I was getting bullied so much at BC Sol, then this whole thing with Shu! That's why I left BC Sol though. I couldn't take anymore."

We got to the Snake Pit and we did find Shu.
"Shu, it's me! It's Valty!"
"I told you, I know who you are, but I don't need you. I don't need any of you! I can only be top blader if I don't have friends!"
Everyone gasped at what Shu was saying. I started crying as I ran over to him and grabbed his arm and tried to pull him to me, but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him instead. He tried to grab my bad arm, but I wouldn't let him. Red Eye or Shu, he didn't need to see it
"You're still an excellent blader with friends Shu! Your friends can make you stronger too."
"No, you'll all hold me back! Leave!
"Not without you!"
I yelled to him. I didn't wanna leave without him, and I wasn't going to. I grabbed both of his shoulders and begged him for the real Shu back.
"Please... Shu, I need y-"
"It's, Red Eye..."
He cut me off to correct me.
"Whatever! Fine. Red Eye, give me Shu back! Please! I want my husband back!"
"If you ever win a battle against me... Shu will return..."
