MY Hero Acadamia: Glitch In The System

Seventh chapter

I wake up with a jolt, "Flip! Now to school!"
I grab my school clothes and feel a slight sadness as I run down stairs and realise Thomas has already left for work...well at least mother's not up yet!
"Caitlin! Make me pancakes for breakfast!" Orders Sonali, spoke to soon!
I can just hear Jay laughing as I roll my eyes and sigh before loading up the duplication quirk...should take five minutes so I still have time to get dressed.
As I almost fall over trying to put on the schools skirt the quirk loads up and I duplicate myself into a blank copy, me but possesed by Jay...great!
I sigh, no use dwelling on that.
I ignore and try to avoid my blank copy while getting a plate and preparing to take mothers food to her.
She's irrational, we only have five minutes.
As soon as my blank copy places the pancake on the plate I'm holding I sprinkle sugar and lemon juice on it before charging up the stairs, "Don't worry about getting me to school, I'll take myself."
Mother compleatly ignores my words and carries on munching.
Well...I guess this is just the price to get to school, I think as I grab my motorbike helmet and drive to school.
I arrive with one minute to spare in the classroom and quickly sprint to my seat.

A minute later caffine comes in.
"Listen up! Now you're going to be paired with a student or whatever from the other class so just sit there and I'll give you your partner."
I nod respectfully, Caffine sound tired of life.

I look down at my desk, I never really liked picking teams or stuff that make me feel like I'm higher or lower than anyone.
"Hi." Says a cheerful voice as I look up, the origin of the voice is a demon looking boy with neon green hair and one blue, one neon green eye.
"Hi, I'm Caitlin. I know, I hate my name to so just call me whatever." I introduce myself as the boy grabs a chair and paper.
"I'm technically called Anti-but right now you can call me Jack. Any idea on what we can do?" The boy asks, smiling and revealing sharp demon-like teeth which only adds to the weird mix of cheerful, childish and somwhat unsettling atmosphere surrounding Jack.
I shake my head, I can't come up with good ideas on the spot and even if I do I usually only share them with Jay.
I stare at the desk as I ask Jay if he has any ideas, I don't want to look like a weirdo staring at Jack.
Nope, although something is off today. I don't think we can trust Jacky boy!
.....you're right...we have to...fine, just don't expect me to save you like usual.
I came back to reality, looking up at Jack I see that he's spaced out as well.
As soon as I smile at how funny Jack looks he re-enters reality and sees me.
"So...this is weird. I mean, I don't exactly know how to combine our powers but we're compeating against other people so let's hope we don't kill them!" Jack jokes as I smile slightly.
"Yeah, I don't exactly know what my powers are but...sure, tell me what you can do and I'll try to figure something out." I nervously say as I look at the ground.
Jack smiles and laughs, "Oh this is going to be fun! Well...I create small items out if air particals using the mind but the downside of me using my quirk is that I can not create an item larger than 30cm tall and 30 cm wide."
I make a suprised face, so a tiny bit like Momo?
I'm going to have to note that down...
Waaaay ahead of you!
"That's so cool! Although I did think it would have something to do with that beautiful necklace you've got on..." I inform Jack who flintches at my mention of what's around his neck.
"Well that is something but I don't like taking about it, I'll use it if the battle becomes deadly." Hack says as he regains his cool.
I nod, I'm just glad I'm not the only one with secrets here.
Jack grins, his grin doesn't look as scary now that I've gotten use to it. His grin looks more playful and innocent than anything else.
"So your quirk?" Jack asks, I freeze.
I block Jays incesant whining about how he could nake Jack just forget we haven't answered his question and take a deep breath, intent on telling Jack about my quirk as if he trusts me enough to tell me his he deserves the same trust back.
"My quirk is called Glitch. As far as my knowledge goes I am the only person ever to get this quirk. I can teleport, posses people, control technology, copy powers, turn 'invisable' or wel...intangable, I can download powers using the data base in my mind Data base in mind, turn into electricity and a few more things that I can't name." I try to explain, closing my eyes and hoping only Jack hears me talking.
Once I open my eyes I'm immediatly met by Jack managing to look a quarter confused and three quarters excited.
"Ahhhh! This is going to be awsome!" He shouts extreamly loud.
"Are you sure you don't have a quirk that makes you have a super loud voice?" I ask jokingly and we both laugh a tiny bit.
