MY Hero Acadamia: Glitch In The System

Fifth chapter

I sigh as I walk into the school building.
It's the enterance exam and a deep pit has formed in my chest.
I don't think I can do this and looking around at all the smiling, brave faces of my competitors is not helping.

Taking a moment to collect my feeling I turn on my headphones, connect them to my phone and put them on.
I then walk in.
I really hope this isn't seen as disrespectful but music helps me relax and it's better than accidently using my quirk because I feel terrible.

I can finally look around properly without feeling inferior and I feel like I might actually enjoy this.
Observing the other students and seeing some of their quirks might be useful, my quirk does have to come from others. Although I do have multiple videos of heroes and villains on my phone ready incase I need them but I've never been able to copy All Might's quirk.
Weird.

I ignore my worry that maybe my quirk isn't all it says on the tin and strut along to the beat.
I use to try desperately not to walk to the beat I listen to but then I realised it's better for me and the people arond me don't hear the beat so they won't know if my walking is to the beat or not.

Walking along, following the other students is cool and many of them look interesting. I wonder who their parents are?
I mean my best friend is the biological daughter of the support hero 'Sunshine' and that's pretty cool but these kids here could be the children of so many other heroes and rockstars!

I imagine the son of Shinsui Koen and nod, that'd be one cool kid.

Before I know it I'm walking into a dark room with a stage infront and multiple chairs facing in in a stand. "Wow...imtimidating..." I mutter under my breath and follow the person infront of me to a seat.

I try and sit comfortable and to keep my mind occupied consentrate on the stage and listen to music.
I then realise I should maybe be preparing so turn on my phone and load up a video of a pro hero.

"Cool! My phone can't get service here so can I please watch with you?" The boy next to me pokes me and asks, I raise a brow at him being so forward, "It's just I...umm...It would help me relax?"

I sigh and nod, moving my phone closer between us and giving him my head phones, telling him I don't need them which is true. All I need to see is the quirk or moves in action and I can copy it.
I don't think to mention that this isn't a normal phone, it can wotk underwater, in electrical storms and of course doesn't need service to load downloaded videos. (The advantages of having a cool brother.)

We sit like this for maybe three five minute videos before the lights dim further and a voice calls out, greeting us.

I take my headphones back and turn off my phone.
This is where the fun really begins.

I listen and get the basic jist:

Don't attack the 0 pointer, it is just as a distraction. Know your limitations.

Don't cause fighting with others.

There are 1,2&3 point robots. Destroy them.

You will be in a big city!

Go beyond, plus ultra!

s soon as the lights turn back on we are moving into seperate groups and as I walk I wonder what the three people who interupted are all about.
Weird.

I find myself in a group with a bunch of people all staring at an opening hate and then we set off, myself running like a normal person since 'the early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese'.
Isn't it weird how no one actually knows how that phrase goes.
