MY Hero Acadamia: Glitch In The System

First Chapter

I live in a world full of heroes and villains and that's not even the strangest part about my life.
The strangest part about my life is my mother, the flame-kick S-class hero: Blaze.

She's not quite a good mother but not bad either, a weird mix which confuses me but luckily I have what all Fifteen year olds need when they have a parent like that, Rebelion music.
(And...Musicals....And heavily accented music...)
And you need to know I'm a 'rebel' because it help to explain why I'm shredding guitar ontop of my families house while my brother is screaming at me to be careful, he's always been soft like that!
Ok, in all honesty I'm mostly a punk-sort of emo so I have weird tastes but almost killing myself by falling off a roof while splaying an electric guitar and screaming my lungs out is definately my most stupid idea so far!

"Alex! Get your butt down here! You're going to die!" My brother screams and I ignore him.
He's got one of those voices that you can't take seriously and makes you instantly want to sneer at him the moment he opens his mouth.
"Come on! Mum's going to be home anytime now, do you really want to risk it?" He shouts again and I think, finally finishing my guitar solo and shrugging, deciding he has a point and sliding down to drop right infront of him.
"You have a point Tom. If mum asks, I just stayed all day in my room, ok?" I state and he nods, the bond of twins can never be broken.
"Only if you agree to actually learn how to play the guitar, I can not bere listening to your broken playing anymore." Thomas negociates and smirks as I ruffle his hair, twins!
"Cheeky boy." I mutter as we enter the house and grab a snack each, me deciding on a cookie and Tom choosing strawberries.
"So...do you think you'll get into U.A?" Tom asks as we both sit in our TV room and munch on our snacks.
I shrug, not wanting to boost my hopes and plainly inform him, "There were double the amount of people compeating to get into U.A this year so I really doubt I'll even make the top hundred."
Tom switches on the TV and hugs me a tiny bit, comforting me, "Don't doubt yourself Alex. You might do it, just keep an open mind."
I nod and we watch something on TV for an hour.

"You know.....If you were a hero, I would know your weakness." Thomas casually says as I hear a car pull into the driveway.
"And what would that be?" I mutter absent-minded, thinking more about mothers arrival than Toms actual question.
"Hold on...." He says and takes out his phone typing something into it.
"And...." He says and I hear the weakness, the one thing that can stop me....A G note on the piano.
"Flip you Tom!" I joke and push him before mother shoves herself into our room and shouts at us for fighting, I just roll my eyes. She doesn't know anything about our lives.

"Hey Tom." I speak into the darkness, it's midnight and I can't sleep.
"Yes?" Tom replies, care and wistful sleep in his tone as he wraps himself further in his blanket.
"Do you think you'll get into U.A?" I ask him, I forgot to ask him before and I felt terrible ever since. I hear him sigh, a tired and doubtful sigh.
"No really...I mean, what can I do that other people can't?"
"You can be an awsome twin brother and a honestly amazing human."
He sighs again and wraps himself tighter, "Yes but what can I do that's actually special?"
I think for a moment before finally speking my mind, "Changing physics. That's super powerful Tom and I know that you've been given that quirk for a reason. Don't doubt yourself Tom, that's what I'm here for!"
We both quietly laugh, we're not extreamly close but Tom's nice. He's a really good brother and I don't think I tell him that enough.
"Hey Alex. I think you'll get in to. You know...with that non-descript and of powerful quirk of yours." Tom says and I laugh again, he's a pain in the butt but I wouldn't change him for the world.
"Yeah, yeah. But we both kniw the best power in the world is controlling those moon black rocks! I mean how cool is moon powers!" I shout, getting a little carried away.
"...what?" Tom whispers and we both laugh a tiny bit before our mother burst in and screams for us to be quiet despite her being louder than us.
Once she leaves we go back to laughing before glancing at each other and silently agreeing to go to sleep now.
