MY Hero Acadamia: Glitch In The System

Second Chapter

The warm sun beaming in my room wakes me at an unusual time.
I believe it's good if you want to become a hero.

Pulling myself up and running a hand through my hair, I get changed and start on my early morning jog.
(You never know when you might need to run away for some reason.)

Are we really going through with this?
I think to myself as I run, trying to ignore my brother running after me. He's literally got a world-bending quirk, he doesn't really need my assistence to do anything.

"Hey wait up you idiot!" He calls after me and I finally stop, seeing him try to look cool jumping off a roof.
Did he seriously run along rooves to catch up with me?

"What's with the roof running?" I ask as he lands on the ground in a superhero pose.

"Felt like it would be cool. Plus I saw you as I woke up so by the time I put clothes on I didn't really have time to go down stairs and open the door so...I chose the window." He explains and dusts himself off.
My brother's okay but he has a habit of being so casual about certain things I wonder if he's being serious some times.

"So why are you chasing after me?" I ask, handing him my waterbottle which he gladly accepts.

"I don't know....Oh! I wanted to say that today's the day!" He explains nothing.

I give him a blank stare but he casually shrugs and walks back to the house.

Darn! Now I've lost my water!
I shake my head and carry on running.

Apparntly todays the day! (The day for what?)
