"Hey, how's it going? You're looking glum." A very old friend introduces and disturbs me from my solitary strutting through the city, a sly smile on his face as he leans back and floats. It hold a million secrets and a thousand evil plots.

Great! First I'm disturbed by my all-powerful brother and now this idiot.

"Thanks for pointing that out captin obvious." I state with as much sarcasm as you can have when faced with a floating gremlin man. The early morning has faded and made way for people to start joining me on the street, some going to work and other just wandering aimlessly.

I seriously messed this up. Usually I can take a quick jog around the town and return without anyone bothering me but today is just not my day!

"Hey! Don't mock my worry kid." He retorts as he floats forward with my struts so he remains in my view despite my fast-pace. His name, Kabu, fitting his general build well.

Having said that I think he's more annoying because he's floating. He couldn't just walk like most of us have to can he...

"Sorry. I'm just worried about the future. I don't know what's going to happen." I admit with a deep sigh, worrying about my future as a hero and if my quirk is powerful enough for the hero course in U.A.

It's been troubling me for a while especially because I have no name for it. Does that mean anything?

"You're going to die. Simple as that." My so-called friend states without missing a beat, almost with pleasure. I believe he's interpreted my question wrong.

In response I shoot him a serious glare, "I mean before that you idiot."

"Oh!" He responds before continuing, "You'll be in a large amount of pain, old and pretty much useless."

"I hate you."

"Good to know."

Since the feeling that my new best buddy wouldn't be leaving me any time soon sets in I sneak into the nearest coffee shop, forcing the floating gremlin to place his feet firmly on the ground again.
If I can't get him to go I can at least ground him.

"Why we here best-bud?" He asks as we enter, letting the knock-out scent of coffee and steam overtake us. It's surprisingly not busy as we are literally the only ones there but I guess that's nice.

"You can't be weird here." I state simply, never being one for causing social disruptions.

"I think you doubt my weirdness." He responds, increasing his smile as he approaches the tired looking employe at the main counter of the coffee shop. This tired employee has parted sea-blue hair, similar to an aquamarine colour, and a half-interested glare.

"One special coffee please! I think I'll have...Lungs, wo-" Kabu starts but gets cut off as the tired man hold up a hand and tells him slowly in a monotone voice that he's just started his break before calling over a younger and more energised boy over to take his order.

"What do you want sir?" The young boy says, flashing a wide smile full of shining white teeth and a voice full of imaginary rainbows. His general character fitting his appearance, bright blonde and slightly ginger hair, suspenders and a faded yellow shirt.

"Ummm...Black coffee?" Kabu stutters, seeminly taken back by this new person while I find a place for us to sit and laugh at his misfortune.

They contrast each other in my eyes, this new person is a beam of sunlight while Kabu is garbage in human form, you can tell from his crinkled striped suit and scruffy, greasy hair.

"Umm...Would you like to sit with us. I like you." My green haired friend simply offers the energetic young barista plainly before taking his coffee.

The boy seems surprised by this question, as most normal people would be, but after a very quick and cartoonish exaggerated look around the shop to see only me and Kabu present he smiles and turns back to answer Kabu.

"Sure!" The boy states as he jumps over the counter and marches towards me with an nonexistant beat in his head. He looks like literally nothing could bring him down.
I wonder what that's like.

As Kabu sits slowly the boy introduces himself, "Mizu Taiyō-Hikari"

"Wow! Your parents hated you." Kabu blandly spits out as he takes a sip from his coffee, making me wonder how he's able to drink something so hot. But he's not exactly wrong...Who calls their kid Mizu?

"Quite the opposite, my parents love me. What's your names?" Mizu asks still with a smile and adorable positivity, missing the bad-natured tone of Kabu's words or ignoring them.

"Kabu Tomushi." Kabu answers quickly, sipping his coffee and making me wonder again why I don't have coffee and why he would so quickly tell this person his full name, not even I know his second name is Tomushi.

"Cool! I'll call you Tomushi!" Mizu states and I roll my eyes, this kids enthusiasm is refreshing but he's going to get punched one day.
(Especially if he calls Kabu Tomushi.)

"And call you Hikari." Kabu mocks but Hikari seems to miss it and smiles gleefully

"Quirks?" I asks, trying to break the staring war that has started between my two companions.

"Kind of like a cartoon character."  Hikari states with a shrug while I lean forward, narrowing my eyes.

He continues, "I can't exactly be hurt or be squished....or break any bones. I seem to have endless energy, I'm pretty sure I can't d-"

"Wow. We didn't ask for your life kid, cool quirk though. Grumpy-face, tell him yours now." Kabu interrupts, dramatically yawning to add to his half-closed eyes and general bored performance.

I roll my eyes but know better than to argue against this idiotic gremlin so go with his request.

"Seino." I state blankly and when faced with my peers faces continue,
"Pretty much means performance."

"Really!?" Hikari questions, dropping his smile for a second as he questions me before being disturbed by the latest breaking news.

"Breaking news! A new, previously unseen, what looks to be, pro-hero has recently unmasked and taken down the largest undercover drug syndicit in this city." The news reporter reveals with as much energy as she can muster with five coffees under her belt, "Going by the name of, Sundowner, this hero seems to be able to do anything under the sun!"

She tries making a minor joke and I have to roll my eyes as a video is shown of this new hero.
He's an idiot.
He's edgy.
He's my brother.

"Really outdid yourself this time Il-loser." I mutter, seeing ny twin brother beating a large group of people and taking drugs using a power-set similar to that of Eraserhead's .

I guess that's what today was the day for. Your big hero reveal.
