"Shiho-san?"
"Tetsuya! Help me carry Kyouya!"
Kusakabe quickly helped and after all the troubles, they managed to get him home.
"Are you sure you'll be alright alone, Shiho-san?"
"Yes, you still have works to do, right? Let me take care of him. Don't worry. He'll be fine."
".... Then I'll leave the chairman to you." He bowed and then left.
Shiho went to check on Hibari and changing the water and towel. His fever was almost 40 degrees. Shiho can't think of what he did to get a fever this high. She got some ice water and wet the clothes on it and put it on his forehead. It didn't help much but its better than nothing.
She then remembered she has some medicine in her luggage. She went to get it. Her luggage was still dumped at the front door. Shiho took the chance to carry it to her room. Unexpectedly, her room was still the same as when she left. It looked like Hibari didn't even bother to enter as the dust was quite thick. She put her luggage outside her room and rummaged through it. She found it but the problem was, will he drink it? It seemed unlikely. Nevertheless, she tried waking him up. She softly called, "Kyouya?"
He didn't open his eyes yet he answered, "What?"
"Eat this. It's fever pill."
He didn't answer. Shiho knew he wouldn't eat it unless she forced it on him, "Oh come on... Just eat it." All of sudden, he got up.
Shiho stuff the pills and water to him. He obediently drank it. But he looked pretty pissed off. Shiho suspected he was angry at himself for showing such a weakness. He shoved the glass back to her and lied down again.
Shiho left him in the room to rest after putting the wet towel back for him. She did her usual routine and checked on him from time to time. By noon, his condition still didn't improve much. The fever has gone down but it was far from being okay. Shiho was wondering whether she should go and get the doctor but Hibari surely didn't like it. He hate being vulnerable like this. Calling for doctor was just like adding oil to the fire. He will bite them all to death before they could even check on him.
That evening, his fever was high again. Shiho decided to stay by his side. She have read some books on medical and knew that prolonged fever will lead to pneumonia and could cause death. Well... The thought of Hibari's death is ridiculous and even laughable but its still worrisome. He didn't seem to have a good sleep a few nights before. He also can't sleep in peace, like having some nightmares. Hibari shouldn't be afraid of any nightmares but still, a more peaceful sleep could help in his recovery.
Shiho didn't have her flute with her right now as she didn't bring it back with her to Italy. She figured she won't need it... Wait a minute... She left it at this house! She went up to her room again and found her flute case on her desk.
She opened it and the shiny golden flute was there, clear of dust and well cared. She left here for almost a month yet it was as great as new flute. She wondered who took care of it for her. She brought the flute and played it in Hibari's room. The beautiful tune from the flute flowed smoothly across the room.
Hibari was awake for a while when he heard that tune. He looked over and saw Shiho was playing it while sitting beside his bed. Shiho didn't realise him. Hibari gave a small smile and continued his sleep. Shiho played all night long after seeing the color of his face looked better since she started playing. By morning, his fever was totally gone.
"... Phew..." Shiho gave a small sigh of relief after touching his forehead.
"... Why you are still here?" The familiar voice sounded strong now.
