"You owe me, remember? Settle it with this." he said while comfortably suiting himself sleeping on Shiho's lap.
"But not like this!" Shiho said but she couldn't move with Hibari's head on top of her lap, "This is so embarrassing! What if someone sees us?!"
"Just stop moving, will you? Nobody will come up here anyway." He said calmly, as if this was happening every other day.
Although it was true that no one will come up to this rooftop, but it was still embarrassing to Shiho. Her face was red to the ears. Other people normally will go to another rooftop. Nobody will dare to come and find the Disciplinary Chairman waiting to beat you up.
"Geez... stop being so forceful, can you?" Shiho shook her head in defeat. She can only hope that nobody will come up to the rooftop before this guy woke up. They can see them from another rooftop too. Her only concern was her guardians. She wished her two guardians were not watching her constantly right now. She knew they have always been nearby to guard her silently. They really were an examplary guardians of Segreto, moving quietly and secretly while guarding their boss.
Shiho accidentally touched his hair. It was unexpectedly soft. She was tempted to touch it again and play around with it. At the end, she only touched it a little bit more, though Hibari didn't say a thing.
After a while, Shiho said, "... It is so peaceful here... Quiet and comfortable... It doesn't seem real at all..."
Hibari didn't answer. Shiho was sure he hadn't fall asleep. He just closed his eyes, "... Play the flute."
Shiho didn't answer him. That's the main purpose she brought her flute up here. She want to play it, at least as a prayer that everything will be alright. She really hope everything will go on peacefully like this. How she wished the time will stop forever at this moment.
Peaceful times passed quickly. It almost time for the guardian's battle. The battle ground will be at the Gymnasium. Shiho wanted to go on site but Hibari refused to.
"There is something I don't like about this battle. I'm not going." He said. Shiho decided to stay put and watched from the rooftop. She could see Tsuna and the others gathering and went to the Gym. Another group of people followed their trails after a while. Shiho recognized that uniform. It is from Kokuyo.
"... Mukuro, huh?" Shiho guessed, but she didn't see any sign of him. There was only the 2 subordinates he had at that time and an eye-patched girl who looked like him. No one else was going there. After a few minutes battling, Shiho felt a chill. Someone was coming. She could feel it.
"Kyouya, sorry but I'm going there for a bit." Shiho told him and ran down towards the Gym. She entered the Gym in a hurry. Everyone looked towards her.
"Shiho... Why are you here?" Yamamoto asked.
"I was here since morning." She answered to his question and look towards the man who was walking towards her, "So... you are really here... sadly, in illusion..." He was smiling as always and looked calm as what she remembered.
"Kufufufu... It has been a while, my little Skylark..."
His eyes was piercing, as if he could look deep into someone's heart. Shiho was not that all affected though, "Looks like I can't avoid being able to feel you from time to time since that incident..." She sighed.
"Kufufufu... That is a good thing, isn't it?" He said, still smiling calmly.
"... Then before you disappear, I would like to say thank you."
"Eh?" Not only him, but everyone exclaimed.
"Thank you... for giving my memory back to me." She smiled, "I know I am not supposed to say this but that's what I feel." She told the rest which some of them were waiting on the line to complain, "If I don't say it now, I don't know when this guy will pop out again."
