Chapter 13

Another two weeks passed peacefully. Her wound was fully closed now. It shouldn't be any problem handling the people that came after her. But it was strange that nobody came to kill her for the past weeks. Normally, even without the inheritance, she will be targeted at least once a week. Something must be happening. Her mother didn't call her either. She wondered what could possibly happen.

She was deep in thought when the classroom door was suddenly opened. Shiho did not turn to look who had just entered. It should be one of the students' family since it was the meet-the-parents session. It has nothing to do with her. She just need to sit there quietly while Reborn acting as the teacher do crazy things in class. But a lot of "wow"s were heard. Murmurs also started. She can't help but take a look at who could make the whole class attention to change. 

She was so surprised that she stood up immediately. It was a pair of blondes, one of them on wheelchair. "How?" Shiho asked immediately.

"Today is the meet-parents session. Its natural that we come." She then faced Rebo-sensei, "we are sorry that we are late. I'm Shiho's mother and this is her brother." She introduced herself and Dino, who obviously know that the teacher was Reborn in disguise but went along with the flow..

Everyone almost dropped their jaws. Both of them were just too dazzling. A handsome and beautiful pair of foreigners in the middle of normal people. Shiho was surprised yet she was happy. Throughout the lesson, the parents are having a chat, including her mother and brother who were the main stars among them. Towards the end of the lesson, the classroom's door was abruptly opened. It was Hibari. Apparently everyone was still not get used to him coming to classroom. 

"... Shiho, come."

Shiho was stunned. This is the first time Hibari called her by her name, moreover first name. Normally he will just say, "Hey" or "You". She didn't how to react. She needed a few seconds to absorb. Everyone else looked surprised too. 

"Are you coming here or do you want me to go there and bite you to death?" His tonfa was already out.

"Okay okay." She got up and said to her mother, "Got some committee work to do. I will give you a call later." She waved to her mother, "Ja ne! Okaa-san, Onii-chan!" and headed towards the door to join Hibari. 

After she closed the door, there was loud chatter on how normal Shiho could be despite being in the same committee as the demon chairman. Most of them changed their opinions of her and became less scared of her.

Ciliegia and Dino also smiled brightly after being called that. It was the first time she called them that in the public aside from being with the family.

"Then we will excuse ourselves first." Ciliegia said to the class and left with Dino. Outside, Dino asked her a question, "When are you going to tell her about this?" 

"... When the moment is right. I'll need to meet that guy first. He will be waiting at the designated place."

On the other hand, Shiho joined Hibari in the patrol. Since the class was still in progress and nobody will overhear her, she took the chance to ask. "... Why did you call me by my first name?"

"Are you saying that I can't call you by your first name when you can call me by my first name?" He said irritably.

"No... That's not what I mean. It's just surprised me since this is the first time you call me by my name..."

He didn't reply to that question, instead he asked, "... Your mother?"

"Eh?"

"The one you talked to."

"Yes... Talking about that, can you fix the dinner on your own for a few days? I want to stay with her when she is here. If not, I'll make something after school and-"
