I wake up to see the sunlight shine through the balcony door, and I sit up. I look next to me to see Jack is already gone.
I look over at the clock to see it is almost 9 in the morning and I throw the blankets from off of me.
I tip toe down the stairs, and wander around the house to see Jack cooking breakfast.
"Good morning, Jack" I say, as I take a seat at the table. He turns his he for a second to look at me and smiles
"Good morning" He says, filling the pancake that is in the pan.
"What time does that-" I cut myself off for a second, "t-thing start?" I ask, and he turns off the flame.
"One o'clock" he says, placing a plate of pancakes and bacon in front of me, cleaning up his mess.
"You didn't have to do this, Jack" I say, picking up the fork and cutting into the pancake.
"But I did, sweetheart" He smiles, putting the dishes in the dishwasher and starting it.
I eat my food in silence as he does some stuff around the kitchen and I put my plate in the dish washer.
"I'll drive you home so you can get your clothes for today, Okay?" He says and I nod my head.
"I'm going to go get changed, and then we can go straight to the- place?" He says and I hesitate to nod my head.
He grabs the car keys and I look around the house for my sneakers. I sit on the floor, slipping them on my feet, realizing I'm still in my pajamas.
"You ready?" He says seeing he is in his police uniform, and I nod my head.
We both walk out of the front door, and into Jack's car. He drives away, soon arriving at my house.
He turns the car off and I look over at him slowly. He puts his hand on the door handle and looks back at me.
"I'm not letting you go alone" He says and I nod my head slowly.
We both get out of the car, and walk to the door. I unlock the door, shutting it behind us and walking upstairs. We walk into my room, and Jack looks around as I walk in the closet.
"Don't mind the mess" I laugh, and he shrugs his shoulders, laughing also.
I grab an outfit, walking out of the closet and into the bathroom.
"Take your time, we are in no rush" He says, and I get the clothes on.
I put a little bit mascara on and do my eyebrows. I cover up all of my bruises, putting the makeup down. I plug in the straightener and fix my hair, unplugging it. I put in a pair of earring looking at myself in the mirror.
