Rose's pov

My alarm clock rings, I peel my eyes open, look at the alarm clock, and rip the sheets off of me. I swing my legs over the side of the bed, rub my eyes, yawn, and stretch out my arms.

I grab my phone on my nightstand, checking the time, to see it is 10:34 a.m. I look at the text message below and read the message from my best friend Jen.

From Jenny
Hey wanna go to the mall today?

To Jenny
Yes let's go!

From Jenny
Okay ill pick you at 12 so we can grab lunch too alright?

To Jenny
Okay cool! See you soon :)

I put my phone down on my night stand, once again looking at the time. I get in the shower washing my long brown hair, drying it right, and after apply little makeup.

I put on a gray sweater and a pair of jeans. I run to my closet and put on my shoes

I look at my phone and see the time 11:54. I grab my bag, stuffing my phone in it, and walking into the kitchen.

I grab a water out of the fridge, open it, and take a sip from it. I hear a loud car horn outside and I run to the door and walk out.

I walk to Jen's passenger seat, and jump in. I smile at her and she smiles back.

"Hi Rose. We are gonna have so much fun" She smiles and I smile back at her giggling a little, as she takes off for the mall

"let's go to Victoria Secret I need new underwear!" Jen yells as I laugh. She grabs my hand dragging me into the huge store.

She drags me to the bras and looks at every single one for five minutes each.

"hey I'm going to go wander. I'll meet you by the register in like ten minutes?" I ask her

"okay cool!" she smiles as I start to wander around the store, having no destination.

I walk through the underwear and a pair catch my eye. I walk closer to black lace underwear, with dark red roses on them.

I go through the draws finding my size, holding on to them. I walk and find 6 more pairs, and a white nightgown.

I walk to the register, Jenny already there with her stuff paid for. I walk to the counter putting my stuff on the counter.

The lady scans everything, putting it all in a bag as she does. A different lady whispers something in the lady that is ringing me up ear.

The lady hands me the bag, "Have a good day Sweetheart" she says smiling at me.

"what do you mean? I didn't even pay for my things?" I question, looking at her confused

"oh I'm sorry I didn't inform you, someone already came in here and paid for your whole order. " she says

"oh" I pause and think "who?" I focus on her as she thinks for a second. I think about you did this.

"I don't think I am suppose to say" she says softly looking around the store, as if she's looking for something

"okay, thanks anyway" I question walking away with a bag bigger then me, full of new things.

"What was that about Rose?" she says whispering to me softly, but still very clearly.

"Someone had paid for my whole order" I say, kind of sounding like a question in the end

"Who?" she almost screams out, eyes wide, mouth agape. I look over to her as she stares at me.

"I don't know, they wouldn't tell me" I say almost in a whisper looking around the empty mall.

I see a man in a long black jacket leaning on the wall, blocking his face. I flick my head to the left and see another man, with the same coat.

I gaze at Jenny, her eyes looking at the men also. She flicks her head towards me and we stare at each other.

"I am not getting good vibes from here Jen" I whisper, as soft as I possibly could, as she grabs my hand tightly.

"let's go get Taco Bell to go and get out of here" She whispers leading me over to the food court.

We quickly walk as fast as we can to the Taco Bell, ordering our food. I feel holes being drilled in my head, turning around to see three men in black coats.

The employee hands Jenny the bag of food, as she leads me once again outside, then to the car.

She gets in the drivers seat and I get in the passenger seat. Jen opens the bag of food, handing me my taco and taking hers.

She looks at the bottom of the brown paper bag for a moment, grabbing a dark red piece of paper from inside.

As she scans it her eyes widen, and her hands start to shake. I lean over to try and see, being unsuccessful.

"let me see" I say, as she quickly hands it to me, staring at me waiting for my reaction.

Don't be afraid baby.

I look slowly look up at her, to see her hands over her mouth and nose. She starts breathing heavy.

"I think it's about me Rose!" she yells on the top of her lungs, as my eyes widen.

The sound of glass shattering souls in the car, as Jenny and I scream bloody Mary. We lock eyes, I knod my head, as we turn our heads to the back seat in sync with each other.

We stare at a rock with another dark red paper around it attached with a rubber band, just like the one from the bag.

I slowly reach for the rock, grabbing it, and I slip the paper out of the rubber band, unfolding it. I put it in the middle of us so we can read it at the same time

The note is for Rose

My body starts to shiver as the note second note settles in me. I feel my eyes fill with tears as I look out the window.

I see no people in sight, crossing my arms, looking back at Jenny, as she does the same thing.

Another rock gets thrown through the broken window, causing me to slowly pick it up and read it.
